I love horror adventure games too! I like the puzzle & riddle aspects of the games more than the fighting though! _________________

I think retail is $150. I want to use one as a movie player. When you install the media software on these, you can play just about anything you can play on your comp. Even stuff like OGM, and videos with soft subs. I already have a PS2 right now, and I barely use it. A lot of my games are unopened or untouched. :/ |
Just got the Halo bundle version. Had it chipped/modified and had a 250 gig hd installed in place of the 10 gig hd that comes with it. I really like the media center software that come with it. Get to play all my avi files with soft subs on it.

And guys, who are competing...are you using modified sticks for competition play?

I thought SH3 was pretty good. The only problems I had with it are that it was too short, and they didn't show more of the town. I haven't got SH4 yet. _________________

kndy | woah nobodyelse looks at this thread....excep 86.. hey 86 what's up?
anyway...
anyway no i don't work for the gaming industry i wish i did it seems fun... anyway one of my friends used to work for KBtoys so he knows how to apply.. and he's also a big CROOK!.. so yeah what did was he took like our information..name social phone#..address (there were like 8 of us) and he simply took one of his friends (who still works at KBtoys) paycheek..photocopied each of our names onto it...and he did a bunch of other crap... anyway he gott us all in for free..in fact in my E3 tag its says kb salesperson.. but i've never worked there in my life!..
and that's the real meanning of chriistmas... also i have some Qs for u... did you go this year or anyothers?.... i would be great to see someone there from jdorama....^^
ok about EVOLUTION... hmmm i made my own PS2 arcade stick..all in all it cost about 40dollars.. but the sad thing is.. after like 2 years of abusing the hell out of it.. the spring on the 360 broke... so right now i doesn't even work...so i won't be taking it to EVO.. that sucks.. but i hear they'll have stick to let us borrow for our matches there..so that should be good enough.... i have been meanning to make a PC arcade stick to play my roms... but i've just been lazy...
(oh yeah i forgot ..on my PS2 stick i downloaded awallpaper from jgirlsDOTcom..[yeah i know it's perverted] and i stuck it on the face of my arcade stick.... so like everyone elsei have half naked japanese girls on my aracde stick..hehehe ... too bad it doesn't work..... -_-" )
also please let me know if u guys do come for evo... i'll say hi.. *this year i will beat the japanese* lol

I haven't got SH4 yet. | yup that's what i hear... that the game doesn't focus as much on the town and its histroy..(which leds to the silent hill we all know and love... cult, devil, drugs, psychos..LOVE LOVE!!) a much as silent hill 2 did with the historical society..and the old prison... and land marks such as the bloddy river tombstone.. and the lake storyabout the drowning ..and all the killings on the newspaper articles... so yeah i hear silent hill 3 focus more on just fighting... and its very linear... but then again i shouldn't judge a game i've yet to play...>.< still i love learning about the town and its history. that's one of the most interesting parts!
as for silent hill 4..all the japanes forums i've seen bash it..not on its game dinamics as a whole.. but on the enemies... for example.. ALOT of ppl complain about the "ghost" enemy.. they can seem to describe why they dun like it... most just say generic stuff like "the ghost is annoying... they're not hard to kill, they're just bothersome" stuff like that... also i hear the lack of levels to explore at ur will is irrateting.. u have to wait for cerain parts of "the room" to be unlocked... leading to some fustration...
kind of like how in the legend of zelda: the wind waker where you would go sailing and it would littelary take 8 or 10 minutes just to reach the next island... that waiting frustation.. still.. i think i have to play it formyself....
also to anyone that likes horror games.. u should give the suffering a try its really good.. i have the x-box verison.. the story is well done... the only problemi have is that is can be alittle too violent for some ppl.. and the excessive use of cursing... i mean i can only hear "f*ck you, mother F***er" from a game ..so much.. after a while..it getts annoying...
=P
