The drama series will start in December 6, with the first two episodes laying the foundation of the story. Then the movie will pick up the plot when it opens on December 20, incorporating the novel's main storyline and adding original elements. After that, the drama will continue to develop and finish off the story. --Tokyograph
I think the lead actor from Hachi-one Diver was uber cute and I couldn't wait to see this. Unfortunately it seems very slow going since there haven't been raw uploads of this drama on any of the sites and I was hoping people were excited enough to start subbing right away. Hopefully it's picked up again later. In any event, I can't for this and I can't wait to see the film.
I recorded the 1st episode but still yet to watch it. The air time slot sucks imo...I'm usually out late at night on Saturdays. I'll let you know how it is later.
looks like an interesting drama to watch. list of promising actor and actress but I cannot understand enough, the synopsis. has anyone watch the first episode? how is it?

I wasn't really expecting much from this at first, but i'm really liking it now after watching first two episodes. Despite the fact that most of the actors/actresses are kinda new (cept for Junpei) but the rest, they're doing great jobs in their roles! And i like how fate connects both Mei and Atsushi in there.
and the theme song, 366 by HY...is really really GOOD! It fits the drama very well. But the only downside is that i have to watch the movie version to continue from ep3, before watching ep4 onwards. Argh....
I watched episodes 1-3 yesterday and really enjoyed them. The movie came out this weekend so I'll probably check that out too. Definitely worth the watch.

Seconded. Love the drama so far though too bad the episodes are a bit shorter than usual.

Akai Ito movie advancing around Asia
The movie Akai Ito, based on a popular mobile phone novel which has been also been serialized into a drama, will open in 5 Asian regions.
According to distributor Shouchiku, after the preview was shown at the American Film Market (AFM) last November in Los Angeles, contracts to distribute the film were taken up by Inter-Continental for Hong Kong and Macao, Cathay for Singapore and Astro for Malaysia and Brunei. The buyers from each of the countries expressed their interest in the unique drama and movie collaboration and are looking into a similar drama-movie link development. It is expected to open in Hong Kong in early March.
Main actors Minamisawa Nao and Mizobata Junpei took part in their 12th stage greeting at Shinjuku Piccaddily on the 10th of January. "This will be shown abroad too, I wonder if it will touch a chord with them..." Minamisawa wondered while at the same time delighted. "I wonder if it will be alright since it's in Japanese," Mizobata said, looking a little lost, then continued enthusiastically, "The feeling when people fall in love is universal. This is a movie that will make each of the countries believe in the red thread of fate. I will do my best filming for the continuing drama."
