Sumire chan was absolutly right and hit the point. Criticising out of concern makes sense, but to criticise an idol just to laugh at him makes me upset too.

Tomoya did gain weight, right. But why to call this �gbeer-belly�h? Most of the times Tomoya was way too thin. In T&D his weight was 56 kg!!!!!!!!!!!! I was more than happy to see him gaining weight. Earlier this year he got sick and was spotted visiting the hospital. Exactly the time when his face became a little bit chubby from time to time. He still might not be completely back to his old self. (And the caps of Hey!Hey! are well chosen to let him look real chubby and awful.)
I�fm a huge fan of Tomoya but that doesn�ft mean I'm going to praise him as if he�fs perfect. He�fs human and humans are supposed to make mistakes. F.i. perming his hair like crazy was a mistake. But in fact it was a rather cute thing coz he attempted, trying to look like his dad.
Tomoya is handsome and I don�ft mind calling him hot or attractive. But there�fre others all over the world who looks better than him. Even his face doesn�ft make him special at first sight. What makes him special is his personality. He�fs kind, nice and friendly, always tries to make the people around him feel very comfortable. Everybody who ever had the chance to work together with him is charmed by his personality and humbleness.
And since when Tomoya has a screechy voice? For those who only heard Sorafune I advice to listen to Miyuki�fs version (think no one in here knows that she is songwriter and composer of Sorafune). After listening to her performance you�fll know that Sorafune is supposed to be sung in this �gscreechy�h way. Tomoya�fs voice is gorgeous and has wide range. He is able to sing all kinds of songs, ballads, rock, pop, jazz�c�c�c besides he�fs an excellent guitar player, can also play drums, piano and a few other instruments. And what makes him even more special, he�fs the only one in JE�fs who writes lyrics, composes music and arranges the song all by himself.

Well, think I said enough. Sorry to disturb you. I�fll leave you now and follow the advice to visit the 'other' forum which will suit me better.

people visit the hospital. big deal. people do checkup routines. the press probably blew up the news that he went to the hospital because of the weight thing, not because of the trip to the hospital itself. it's not like he was covered in blood when he went in or he was diagnosed with cancer or something.

I've been lurking this site for quite sometime now, but I haven't felt compelled to join, up till now. This thread seems like fun !

I'm not a Tomoya Nagase fan, yet. I've been thinking of adding him to my fave male stars 'coz I like the way he looks (yes, I'm one of those shallow girls who often put looks first, then talent).

I haven't seen any of his doramas, although I have My Boss My Hero and may have Sakura and Dragon (or is it Tiger and Dragon ?). I've been intending to watch MBMH but it keeps getting shoved down by other dramas.

The only Tokio song I know is Ding Dong , but I've seen Tokio performed in MS (that Spring '07 special) and in that JE Countdown show.
