They arrive tomorrow.

I have read amazing stuff in reviews.
If they help at all its gonna be a good thing. My inhaler is about the only thing to provide real relief other than benadryl.
I'll be keeping you posted.

Yeah the anecdotal information is encouraging coupled with the fact that quercetin is known to be a powerful anti-inflammatory which is backed up by scientific evidence...it's no wonder that it works for some people, that's why I wasn't reluctant to recommend it to you. Hope it helps you out, Eve.

At the rate things are going, if we're all going to stay healthy, we're all going to be wearing masks. Here's how to make one, in about a minute, no sewing required: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhLZ0f_Hat4

Surprised they didn't come up with one of these in Japan first: https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/20200509_16/

^ My bad, actually they did. Clear back in March.

Cooled masks being sold in Japan's vending machines

KYODO

YAMAGATA – Reusable cloth masks that are cooled and sold in vending machines* are proving popular amid growing fears that wearing masks to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the summer could cause breathing difficulties.

The masks are stored at 4 degrees Celsius, the lowest temperature setting in two vending machines in Yamagata Prefecture, and around 400 are sold daily for ¥690 a piece, even though they do not stay cool for long.

Knitwear manufacturer Knit Waizu, which is based in the town of Yamanobe in the prefecture, produces the masks as it wanted to create something that would “make people smile during these dark times.”

The company started producing them in mid-March following a serious shortage of masks amid the spread of the virus in Japan.

As a number of regions in Japan, such as Yamanashi and Gunma prefectures, on Monday saw temperatures rise above 30 C, the highest of the year so far, concerns are growing over the use of masks in hot weather.

*They use the same vending machines that hold soft drinks and beer. Right in there between the Coke and the Sapporo Premium. Drunk

Finally got the Covid vaccine, dunno why I waited so long. But, because he's a lot more eloquent (and obviously a lot smarter) than me, Keith Olbermann can explain why you should better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_mJaf21rMo

I could tell. The day before they showed the number of people that had gotten the vaccine as 151,277,891. The next day it was 151,277.892. Bleah

Actually, I got the Moderna which requires two shots. After the first shot, other than some aching in my arm, which is pretty normal after getting a shot, everything was okay. A month later, got the second and the next day I was really out of it. Not real sick but that kind of buzz you have when you know you're not 100%. Fortunately, by the next day I was pretty much back to normal. Sweat

Same here: After the second Moderna shot, I was achy, fatigued, and was really sore at the injection site... But it only lasted about a day.
