Thanks for the tip. Hopefully I'll have the chance to check it out. On my recent travels, I've had the opportunity to talk to fellow tourists about the food in Great Britain, and they've all said that based on what we ate (in Europe and Japan), British food pales in comparison. No one said they had bad meals in the UK, but it just couldn't match what we were exposed to on these tours. I was very fortunate to have had a number delicious meals in Europe (Italy in particular stands out), but the meals I had on my last trip to Japan--virtually every lunch and dinner as well as a couple of memorable breakfasts --were so terrific that I have struggled to describe to people just how wonderful they were. And it ran the gamut from Hakata ramen at a yatai in Fukuoka to Kaiseki ryori in a mountain resort in Miyoshi and everything in between.

Well shin2, you are talking to a self-professed Japanese food nut and that is one of major reasons why I have visited Japan three times already.

I agree with the sentiment about British food but as cosmopolitan as London is there are many opportunities to dine on various cuisines aside from native British fare. As you I'm sure you already know, the sandwich I referenced about is actually Spanish, as Brindisa is a Spanish restaurant in the Borough Market that also has a market that sells Spanish food products as well as a food stall which sells the chorizo I pictured about.

I'm sure you'll have a lovely trip nothwithstanding the food scene relative to other places you've been.

I'm actually looking forward to sampling regional favorites as we travel through England, Wales, and Scotland. Not sure if I'll try haggis though.

Ive lived over there for a couple years and traveled the country as well. I liked the regional foods and many of the savory pies were quite delicious.

I never heard this one before, but it's on the internet so it MUST be true!!

Sore Throat Relief: The marshmallow was first made to help relieve a sore throat! Just eat a few of them when your throat is hurting and let them do their magic. Good to know for when you have a sick kid who probably won't mind an excuse to eat marshmallows.

So after being an idiot and letting my bronchitis get bad before seeing the doctor. (mother coming for her yearly visit so I needed everything to be perfect) its been the worst year for allergies in twenty years and I haven't had a good breath in over a month. I've tried most everything. About to get Quertin on 2trikys recommendation. But if anyone has a miracle cure post it ok!!

Remember to take the quercetin consistently in the hopes of seeing a benefit, it probably won't work over night...but I would say after two weeks or so of daily intake you should get a feel to see if its anti-inflammatory, anti-allergenic properties are kicking in. I wouldn't skimp either. Start a dose of 500mg a day.

They arrive tomorrow.

I have read amazing stuff in reviews.
If they help at all its gonna be a good thing. My inhaler is about the only thing to provide real relief other than benadryl.
I'll be keeping you posted.
