Cast of �eHotaru no Hikari�f movie attends completion ceremony

On May 14th, the cast of �eHotaru no Hikari�e attended an event to announce the completion of filming for their upcoming movie.
Actress Ayase Haruka claimed that she�fs a �ehimono onna�f herself as she said, �gI�fm a himono onna. I tend to find things very bothersome. When I go home, I take off my pants and socks together.�h Announcer Hayama Hélène responded, �gHow efficient.�h
�eHotaru no Hikari�f is based on Hiura Satoru�fs popular manga that was serialized in the manga magazine, �eKiss�e. It tells a story about Amemiya Hotaru (Ayase), a �ehimono onna�f who abandoned love in her 20s. On her days off, she lounges about at home in her jersey while drinking beer. Unexpectedly, she has to live with her boss Director Takano (Fujiki Naohito).
The comedic drama series first aired in 2007, then returned to the screen in 2010. The upcoming movie version portrays Amemiya and Takano�fs honeymoon in Rome. Matsuyuki Yasuko plays the role of Saeki Rio, a �ehimono onna�f in Italy, while NEWS member Tegoshi Yuya plays Rio�fs brother Yu.
The cast brought laughter to the crowd during their interview session with announcer Hayama. When actor Fujiki revealed, �gTo some extent, a himono onna is okay,�h Hayama asked, �gTo what extent? Give us a concrete boundary.�h Tegoshi was was the only one that answered �gno�h to �ehimono onna�f. Hayama joked, �gI can�ft look at Tegoshi-san�fs eyes anymore.�h
Ayase commented, �gWhen I first played Hotaru, I was 22-years-old. Since then, I had the opportunity to play Hotaru 3 times. I thought it was something that you could watch while being lazy at home drinking beer, but I�fm surprised at the movie adaptation.�h She continued, �gIt�fs a movie that makes you feel happy after you watch it. Please enjoy it until the very end.�h
Matsuyuki, director Yoshino, Itaya Yuka, and Yasuda Ken also attended the ceremony. �eHotaru no Hikari�f will open in theaters on June 9th.
On May 23rd, actress Ayase Haruka held a himono onna limited premiere event for her upcoming film, �eHotaru no Hikari�e.
Ayase appeared in himono onna style, wearing a jersey and t-shirt. She shared that she enjoyed the food in Italy, saying, �gBecause of it, my wedding dress [for the movie] became tight on me. In the movie, you can see I�fm bobobobo~n. I�fm not slim, really. I�fm told that my butt is big.�h
The event was held with himono onnas consisting of 120 women in their 20s and 19 female announcers. Together, they watched the movie, lying down and holding a beer in one hand. Additionally, the �ebest of himono onna�f was chosen from the crowd, and the winner was presented with a himono-shaped trophy.
Ayase smiled as she said, �gI think people who do their best outside and become lazy at home were able to relate to this. It�fs good, isn�ft it? Being a himono onna.�h She also promoted the film saying, �gYou can laugh and cry with it. The relationship between Hotaru and �ebuchou�f, and Hotaru�fs himono onna style has improved.�h

One unexpected day, her boss (buchou) Director Takano (Fujiki Naohito) comes to live with her.
The manga received its first drama-adaptation on NTV in 2007, then returned with a second part in 2010. In the upcoming film, Hotaru and buchou go on their honeymoon to Rome. It will open in theaters on June 9.
Ayase Haruka attends a press conference for KFC dressed up as Colonel Sanders

On May 29th, actress Ayase Haruka attended a press conference for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Ayase, who appeared at the event dressed up as Colonel Sanders, greeted the crowd saying, �gI�fm Ayase Harucolonel Sanders.�h She also challenged herself to making KFC�fs original chicken.
While making the chicken, powder flew into Ayase�fs face, causing her to sneeze. After trying the chicken, company president Watanabe Masao commented, �gIt�fs hard to believe this is her first time making it. I�fm the only one in the world to eat the original chicken made by Ayase Harucolonel Sanders. I�fm very moved.�h
During the press conference, it was announced that the �gOriginal Chicken Handmade Challenge Contest�h will be held on July 4th. Ayase called out, �gDo your best by studying my recipe.�h
Last November, KFC discovered an unpublished autobiography written by Sanders. The press conference also announced the completion of the Japanese version of this autobiography. This book will be revealed through KFC�fs official website on June 6th, and will also be donated to educational institutions and libraries
Ayase Haruka attends stage greeting for �gHotaru no Hikari�h movie in a wedding dress
On June 9th, actress Ayase Haruka attended the stage greeting which was held at Cinecitta Kawasaki in Kanagawa prefecture, for her movie �gHotaru no Hikari�h on its release day. Ayase who showed up to the event in a wedding dress with her co-star Fujiki Naohito, as if it was their wedding ceremony, excitingly said, �gNow that the movie is finally released, my heart is full of excitement and nervousness.�h When asked when her real wedding would be, Ayase answered, �gI don�ft feel a foreboding for it at all, though I do have a desire�c�h
The �gHotaru no Hikari�h movie will be released in 8 countries throughout Asia. Right after the event, Ayase flew to Taiwan where the movie�fs premiere screening will be held on the 10th, and attended the press conference there.
Full trailer for �eHimitsu no Akko-chan�f released!
The official website of the upcoming live-action adaptation of Akatsuka Fujio�fs manga and anime classic �eHimitsu no Akko-chan�e was finally updated with a full-length trailer.
�eHimitsu no Akko-chan�f revolves around the the 10-year-old elementary school girl Kagami �eAkko-chan�f Atsuko who transforms into a 22-year-old college student (Ayase Haruka) thanks to a magical compact mirror in order to watch over her first love (Okada Masaki) at a cosmetics company in secret.
The manga was the first magical girl manga in Japan 50 years ago and spawned numerous anime adaptations. The movie features an original story fit for the 21st century and many unique moments, like Ayase transforming into Osugi Ren as shown in the trailer. Aside from those three, the trailer also introduces the various characters played by Tanihara Shosuke, Fukiishi Kazue, Tsukaji Muga, Motai Masako, Kaga Takeshi, and Kagawa Teruyuki.
Moreover Ayase is transforming into several outfits as Akko-chan, such as a policewoman�fs uniform, a bike suit, a wedding dress, and many others. It�fs a cute, colorful, and cheerful adaptation that shouldn�ft be missed by fans of the manga and lighthearted romantic comedies.
�eHimitsu no Akko-chan�f is scheduled to open in cinemas nationwide on September 1st.
Ayase Haruka & Sato Takeru star in movie "Riaru Kanzen Naru Kubinagaryu no Hi"
The movie is based on the novel "Kanzen Naru Kubinagaryu no Hi" by Inui Rokuro, published on January 8, 2011, which won grand prize at the "9th Kono Mystery ga Sugoi!"
Koichi (Sato Takeru) & Atsumi (Ayase Haruka) have been friends since their childhood days and they eventually became lovers. About one year ago, Atsumi attempted to commit suicide and fell into a coma afterwards. Koichi, desperate to know why Atsumi attempted suicide, takes part in a new medical procedure that involves the central nervous system. Koichi will enter the subconscious mind of Atsumi through the medical procedure. When Koichi enters the subconscious mind of Atsumi, shes asks Koichi to find a picture she drew a long time ago.
Filming began June 15, 2012 and is expected to finish in late July, 2012. The movie is directed by Kurosawa Kiyoshi.
Other Cast Members include Nakatani Miki, Odagiri Joe, Sometani Shota, Horibe Keisuke, Matsushige Yutaka & Koizumi Kyoko.
The movie will be released early summer of 2013. There are also plans of entering the movie in the 66th Cannes Film Festival to be held in May 2013.
Nikkan Gendai has released a ranking of the top-earning actresses in Japan. The list covers the recent estimated earning of an actress for one episode of a drama and the potential viewer ratings she could garner. Matsushima Nanako topped the list with 2.5 million yen per episode (US$31700, SGD$40000). With plans to participate in only 2 dramas for Nippon TV next year, there are rumours that she might even command 4 million yen per episode.

I saw this billboard in Harajuku on my last trip to Japan. I was going to cut it out and take it with me so I could sell it to one of you guys but it didn't fit in my messenger bag.
