Sugoi! Now I dont need doubles!
I just saw the first ep and the show is so cool! The music choice is great as well. Makes the show more fun. But I have a compliant that it's way shorter than the other drama's I've watched. I thought it'd be at least 45 minutes. Better have more eps then.

Can someone help me out with the rules of the game. I'm confused.
For Part 1 it says:
-Every player starts with 100myen. You can take money from other players and it will become part of your prize money. The max you can win is 100myen. Max you can be in debt is 100myen
Episode 1 has 2 players
If Erika wins and takes 100myen from the other player then she has 200myen. it doesn't make sense because the rules said that the max they can win is 100myen. Then if you take 200myen from the other, then shouldn't he be in 200myen debt? The players both started with 100myen so why don't they both just keep it because according to the rules, you can only make 100myen and it sounds pointless.
Am I missing something here? Bad translation or did I read it wrong?

when is the next episode out??
yup! i was confused by this too. but after thinking abt it, i assume that if toda managed to trick her sensei the 100m yen den at the end of the game, she will return the 100m yen, that supposedly belongs to sensei, to the... (opps. i forget his name. i am trying to refer to the guy in the video). den toda will keep her 100m yen but her sensei will hafta pay the guy-in-video 100m yen. so the guy-in-video will earn extra 100m yen. think no one will play this for fun, so that person's aim is to trick pple's money ba. i think..

at first it was really confusing but if you analyze it very well, your conclusion is correct... Nao (Erika) will win the 100M yen from her sensei and the LGT secretariat will retrieve the other 100M from her and will force the sensei o pay his "debt"... *nosebleed* whew... what a game...
and by the way, if that happens, Akiyama will get his 50M from Nao right?

ahhhhh okay. So let me get this straight, you owe 100 million yen to the bad boy whether you win or lose? That way, when erika takes all the money, she only wins 100myen? What about that "maximum you can be in debt stuff" So can you be in debt 1 million yen?
So then what happens if there are 3 players? Do you owe 200 million yen or just 100 million yen? Because that'd mean the max you can have is 300 million yen.

It is an interesting game. In the end, the guy who thought of the game will either break even or get lots of money. So he's pretty much trying to swindle those who are in need of money and have them go into massive debt. X____X
Unless some kind of twist comes along between Erika and her Sensei, its obvious she'll get her money back.
Hopefully as the drama goes on the game will get harder. Triple Threat or a battle royal sorta thing.
Erika and the guy will continue to be a team is what it looks like to me. *This is based of a manga was it????*
It just looks and seems like there's going to be more fun as the episodes comes in week after week _________________

So far the story just revolves around these 2 players, Nao and her Teacher. But something which I find strange is, in the game video it says "oponents." Therefore, one would think there is more than 2 players. However, it says at the end of the 30 days they will come and pick up the original sum of 100 million yens. Any money you took from your opponent will be yours, a maximum of 100 yens. Doesn't anybody see a problem here, it would then mean there is only 2 players, including her. So just her and the teacher...
If that wasn't a typo from the translator, then they messed up the rules a bit. _________________

In the manga, there're other 'pairs' of players besides Nao and her teacher, and the winners 'may' have the option to go to the next round. So I guess the translation may be unclear but this is clearly stated in the manga.

Everyone who participated and received the 100 million yen already owes the masked guy 100 million yen.

so if Toda gets her money back and the teacher's money.. she'll get 200 million.
She'll then have to give back the 100 million yen she owed to that masked guy and keep the other 100 million yen for herself.
the highest you could owe is 100 million yen no matter how many players there are because for example if there were 3 players and you take a guys money, you'll have 200mil, and then the third player takes your money.. you'd only owe 100 mil because the other 100 mil wasn't yours in the first place.

So how does the boss make his money? It seems if we look at the simpliest way, 1 on 1. The boss hands out 200myen to the players and then the winner returns 100myen and the loser gives back 100 myen. It means that the boss receives his 200myen back in the first place and he has no profit. Is that right?
i think the LGT secretariat is a mafia king that's why he has money that huge...
based on my understanding, the game is just a 1-on-1 format and whoever wins, will continue to the next round...
you win your opponent's 100M yen, you will return your 100M yen to the dealer, and your opponent will have a debt of 100M yen to the dealer, and he (dealer) will get it successfully "with out fail"
