GTO [麻辣教師] Rating: 8/10 At the beginning, the story is too much mike a reapeat from the manga and anime, yet without German Souplex. So it did not seem so interresting and I continued watching mainly out of Onizuka fanhood.
Nevertheless it differenciates as the story goes on and some episodes were real fun.
As a side note, I disapprove that they made Onizuka so "Boys Band", and was quite disapointed by Murai Mother. Fuyutsuki, on the other hand, is even better in the drama than in the manga (yet, very different).
Note also that the special drama is quite good (I think), while I would rate the movie as "pure boredom".
Hero Rating: 6/10 (Watched) sometime good, sometime boring. given the enthousiastic comments I had heard about this one, I was somehow disapointed.
Long vacation [ロングバケーション] Rating: 8/10 (Watched) While not my favourite, definitely a good show. Minami, especially, is a very touching character.
Star no Koi [スタアの恋] Rating: 8/10 almost finished watching. While this drama as the slowness which prevent me from enjoying most comedy (especially japanese ones in fact...), I truely like it. Often it's like action is lacking, yet I always have a few good laughs (which is rare on my part) and want to watch again at least some part of it (usually it means having the show running while I'm working).
Hikaruko facial expressions might have a part in this (especially since both her face and expressions remind me of a friend... which increases her sympathy potential ;> ).
Summer snow Rating: 7/10 (Watched) At first, the "over-dramatic" synopsis made me want to avoid this show. Nevertheless, I found it quite enjoyable.
Taiho shichauzo [逮捕しちゃうぞ] Rating: 4/10 (Watched) having some knowledge of the manga I was really disapointed, I would truly have liked more "excess".
In fact, some episode are just plain boring. This is not the case of every single one thought. Yet in any case there is a weird, "kitch", feel to the acting; especially when it comes to action oriented scenes. I found the Gokkon scene funny thought.
