Hana Yori Dango [花より男子] This is actually the first JDrama I've ever seen. I had to see it because I love Hana Yori Dango (the manga and the anime). I've seen Meteor Garden which was nice, but I've always wanted a Japanese production of the series and finally it is here! And it is superb! Although only 9 episodes long :( it does a great job in capturing the essence of HYD. Inoue Mao is perfect as Tsukushi and Matsumoto Jun does a fantastic Domyouji!! I absolutely love this series and can watch it over and over again. Best series ever, based off great material!
Shinsengumi [新撰組] 2nd JDrama I've ever seen. I mainly wanted to see it because I love history, and the idea of a historical fiction based off the Shinsengumi was something I couldn't miss. And I'm really glad I didn't because it is a wonderful series with great actors and a great story, may be a bit slow for some people at times, political moments and such, but lots of great character development. Love this series. The Shinsengumi are so kick ass!

Inoue Mao [井上真央] I absolutely love her as Makino Tsukushi from Hana Yori Dango. I think she was the perfect casting for this role. She was exactly how I imagined this character! I'm so glad they made a HYD live action... its so cool to see your favorite manga/anime come to life... okay yes there was Meteor Garden, but I really wanted to see a Japanese production of HYD...
Matsumoto Jun [松本潤] Matsumoto Jun is awesome as Domyouji Tsukasa!!! see HANA YORI DANGO!! Its soo good!!
Sakai Masato [堺雅人] I am now watching Shinsengumi! and Sakai Masato is an amazing actor a real scene stealer... Not to mention he's gorgeous. I'm sorry but there is just something about his smile and those eyes... *drool* I really want to see more of his work! The photo above doesn't do him justice...
