Byakuyakou [白夜行] Over doing it! [Rating: 6/10] Perhaps owing to the success of "Crying out love in the centre of the world", the producers are trying to use the same formula in a totally different story and setting.
However, from the first episode, it's clearly over doing it, especially with the BGM. It's also unnecessary to tell the story in a retrospective perspective.
The story itself seems to be even less compelling than its counterpart when the boy kills his own father without any strugglings. We will see how the rest turns out!
The 2nd and the 3rd episodes are making the story less feasible. They could just fled away from Japan and start their own life. Why waste the time and wait?
In Crying out love, we could see drama building up to the climax. This one, I am simply dissappointed so far. Let's see how it resolve itself.
