Erika Toda to star in TBS 2018 Fall drama

Erika Toda will star in the TBS 2018 Fall drama "Dai Renai: Boku o Wasureru Kimi to". Tusyoshi Muro will co-star.

Toda plays Nao Kitazawa, a doctor. She works at a clinic and is engaged to fellow doctor Yuichi Ibara.

A month before the wedding, she meets Shinji Mamiya (Muro). He is an unsuccessful novelist and has a part time job. They fall in love, but Nao is diagnosed with early on set Alzheimer's disease.

The drama begins in October in Japan.

Erika Toda announces her marriage

Erika Toda and Tori Matsuzaka have announced their marriage.

On his official website, Matsuzaka reported, "To everyone, thank you very much for always supporting me. It's a sudden announcement, but I, Matsuzaka Tori, have married Toda Erika-san."

He continued, "Since my debut, I have been supported by many people and had the opportunity to be in many rewarding places. As my environment changes, I would like to face everything seriously with more responsibility and resolve than ever before. Please continue to support me."

Similarly, Toda announced, "At this time, I, Toda Erika, would like to announce my marriage to Matsuzaka Tori-san. Without forgetting my grateful feelings towards everybody, I would like to work even harder as an actress, so it would make me happy if you would watch over me warmly. I ask for your continued support."

Erika Toda has announced that she is expecting her first baby.

Through her agency, Toda said, "At this time, I would like to announce that I have been blessed with a new life. Right now, I am spending every day with my mind and body at peace and pray that my baby will be born without any problems. It would make me happy if you would please continue to watch over me warmly."

As usual, no mention of gender.

On May 4th Erika Toda announced the birth of her first child, saying, " We are pleased to announce the birth of our first child. Both mother and child are healthy.
With a new life in front of me, I am spending my days moving my heart.
With the support of everyone who always supports me, the people involved, and many other people, thank you from the bottom of my heart for watching over me warmly.
