Ayumi Hamasaki announces engagement to 25 year old UCLA grad

On December 12, Hamasaki Ayumi announced on her official fan club site "Team Ayu" her engagement with an American man.

According to her announcement, her fiance is a 25-year-old graduate student at UCLA. The couple met each other through a friend's introduction during the New Year holidays in January 2013, and began dating in the spring.

They got officially engaged on December 12, but they have not decided exactly when they would register their marriage at this moment.

Hamasaki previously married Austrian actor, Manuel Schwarz who she co-starred with in her music videos in January 2011, but divorced in January the following year.

On March 3, singer Hamasaki Ayumi who previously announced her engagement to a 25-year-old UCLA graduate student, announced on her fan club site "Team Ayu" that she is officially married.

Under the title "Just married��", she wrote to her fans, "Today is the start of married life. To my dear fans on TA �O�O"

According to her agency, the couple already finished their marriage procedure in the United States near the end of February. Today on the 3rd, Hamasaki's mother, as a deputy, submitted the marriage registration to Japan.

Just 2 days ago, Hamasaki performed at "Tokyo Girls Collection 2014 S/S" as a surprise guest, but she has already returned to Los Angeles, and she will work on making her music there.

Ayumi Hamasaki to release new album in July and tour in May

Hamasaki Ayumi will release a new album on July 2nd.

As the producers, Hamasaki's 15th original album will feature RedOne, Rodney Jerkins, Armin van Buuren, and Fedde le Grand from overseas, and DAISHI DANCE from Japan. It will contain songs such as "Hello new me" which is the opening theme for Fuji TV's drama 'Saigo Kara Nibanme no Koi', and "Pray" which is the theme song for the movie 'BUDDHA2 Tezuka Osamu no Buddah -Owarinaki Tabi-'.

From May to July, Hamasaki will hold a brand new concept live titled 'ayumi hamasaki PREMIUM SHOWCASE ~Feel the love~'. She will hold a total of 11 concerts in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. Those who attend the live will receive a free CD featuring 2 new songs from her upcoming album.

Ayumi Hamasaki to release new single, PlugAir and live DVD/Blu-Ray in October

Hamasaki Ayumi will release her 52nd single "Terminal" and a PlugAir "XOXO (PlugAir) Limited Edition" on October 1. She will also release a live DVD / Blu-ray, titled "ayumi hamasaki PREMIUM SHOWCASE ~Feel the love~" on October 22.

"Terminal" was included in Hamasaki's latest album "Colours". Besides the title number, which is produced by DJ Armin van Buuren, the single will include 2 remixes of the track.

Similarly, "XOXO" is a track off of "Colours", and it will be released in a PlugAir form. A PlugAir is a physical device that gives you access to its contents by plugging it into the earphone jack of your smartphone. The PlugAir will include the song, its PV, and other contents that you can only enjoy through this device.

Finally, the live DVD / Blu-ray will feature Hamasaki's concert from July 6 at Yoyogi National Gymnasium. More details will be revealed at a later date.

Ayumi Hamasaki to release new single on Christmas Eve

Hamasaki Ayumi will release her new single "Zutto... / Last minute / Walk" on December 24.

Music producers Komuro Tetsuya, Tago Kunio, and Yukumi Tetsuya are involved with the production of this single. All title tracks, "Zutto...", "Last minute", and "Walk" are ballads.

From December 29 to 31, Hamasaki will hold her year-end lives 'ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN LIVE 2014-2015 A Cirque de Minuit ~Mayonaka no Circus~'. Out of the 3 shows, the 31st will be a countdown live. Tickets are available for pre-reservation now.

Ayumi Hamasaki announces her annual countdown live

On her 37th birthday, October 2, Hamasaki Ayumi held the Zepp DiverCity TOKYO concert of her fan club tour "TA LIMITED LIVE TOUR".

This is the singer's first fan club tour in about 12 years and it will run until the end of November. During her birthday live, which was the third show of the tour, she was presented with a surprise birthday cake on stage and even took a commemorative photo with the audience.

Hamasaki announced that she would hold her annual countdown live again this year. The concerts will be held on December 29, 30 and 31 at Yoyogi National Stadium.

Ayumi Hamasaki to release classical album

Hamasaki Ayumi's new classical album "Winter diary �`A7 Classical�`' will be in stores on December 23.

For this album, Hamasaki has hand-selected ten songs from her albums "A ONE" and "sixxxxxx" and gave them a classical arrangement. Among the ten songs, three of them, which are "WARNING", "NO FUTURE", and "The Show Must Go On", features violinist Okabe Machi.

As a special track, the album includes a new song called "Winter diary" written by Komuro Tetsuya. This song is the sequel to the singer's 2015 summer tune "Summer diary".

Ayumi Hamasaki to divorce her husband

On September 11, Ayumi Hamasaki updated her blog stating that she would be divorcing her husband.

On her blog, she wrote, "Today there is something I want to announce to everyone. My partner, with whom I have walked together with for three years and I have decided to go our separate ways. He will take his own path, and I will take mine." She continued that she will move forward concentrating on tour rehearsals and new song recordings.

Hamasaki's agency commented, "It's a private matter so we will leave it up to her."

In January of 2011, Hamasaki married Austrian actor Manuel Schwarz, but the couple divorced the following year. She then married an American man 10 years her junior in March of 2014.

Ayumi Hamasaki has announced via her fan club site that she had a baby late last year. She has not revealed any information regarding the baby's father as well as the baby's birthdate and sex.

Hamasaki first thanked fans for their support at her countdown live held on New Year's Eve. She continued, "I gave birth to an angel and became a mommy late last year. I am still unable to manage things as I would like, and there are many days when I am disappointed in myself. But for my child's life and future, I ask that you watch over us quietly."

Ayumi Hamasaki announces second pregnancy

Singer Ayumi Hamasaki has announced that she is pregnant with her second baby.

She held an online live on her birthday, today, October 2nd. After the live, she wrote on her official blog, “I will not forget this shocking year of 2020 when we experienced a pandemic which was like getting lost in a tunnel without an exit. I believe that this [live] was the final stage that was necessary for me to powerfully take my next step.”

She then added her pregnancy announcement, “Currently, my second angel is growing inside of my stomach. I am looking forward to having a big family!!” She asked, “For the sake of my children, It would make me happy if you would please quietly watch over my private life.”

On May 1st, Ayumi Hamasaki announced via her official fan club that she had given birth to her second child.

Hamasaki said, "This spring, I gained another precious family member and started my new lifestyle." She did not share the baby's sex nor any details regarding the birth. "I'm still not used to many things, but I am trying to be positive and spend my days with a smile as much as possible," she said.
