I was over at JACC for Nisei Week to pick up this years Nisei Week t-shirt. They always have a sort of garage sale there as well and I found this:

It's a t-shirt from when Do As Infinity came to the States in 2004. They called it a tour but the only two places they went were New York and Dallas. New York I could understand but why Dallas?! Head Scratch

Seems they should have gone someplace with more of an Asian community like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, maybe stop off in Honolulu on the way over or back.

Tomiko Van announces marriage

Almost made it five years.

Tomiko Van divorced in July of 2018

On August 4th on Fuji TV's "Bokura no Jidai" Tomiko Van announced that she had gotten divorced in July of last year.

The program also featured appearances by singers hitomi and Koda Kumi. As the three talk about childrearing, Van revealed that she had divorced her husband last July. "It doesn't change the fact that he is our children's father, so we are still keeping contact. It's like we are back to being friends," she said.

Van is now living in her hometown of Kumamoto and has help raising her children. "It was hard when I was living in Tokyo. I was by myself, and there was no family around me that I could rely on. I'm glad that I moved. It's like I was reborn again."
