I already deleted the .mkv files and redownloading the raws right now since I found the softsubs in d-addicts.... but I am interested in that program too so please share the link
Finally watched the SP... I love it...
Special was quite good, rewatching season II, like it better this time around, can't wait until that episode where they go out, forgot about it until I noticed those shots you posted. Seeing as how it's a special day for Gakky, few shots from season 2.

I like her hair in season 2... it doubled the cuteness.... hahahha
in SP I like Erika more than Gakky... hhahaha really shocking since I'm not a fan of her ever since... (but I have a feeling that I'll be one in the next few days
Like the ending of season 2... though it's a bit weird that aizawa decided to transfer in Neuro Surgery department... I wish there's a final movie...
I dunno about the story but I wanna see that team again tgether... hahaha
BTW, I watched some NG parts of CB... I love the part where Toda and Yamapi are talking then suddenly Erika's stomach rumbled... haahaa super cute

I remember that stomach growling scene, that was good, also liked the episode where Erika and Yui went to the kaoroke bar, wish that was longer. The ratings were fairly solid again, this is the kind of story that can go on for a few seasons or at least a couple more specials.
We know the answer to this.

I finally finished the drama (season 1 SP and 2nd season)
1st season was ok for me though honestly I really pushed my self so hard in the first 2 episodes...hahaha (for the sake of Yamapi and Gakki) episode 3-5 were good.... I really enjoyed it but when episode 6 (am I remembering it correctly?) which is about Aizawa'a granny... OMG.. things becomes so draggy... in addition to that the story of Saejima's BF... OMG.. less action and more draggy emo scenes... I nearly fell asleep in these episodes (I think it's from 6-7)... good thing it goes back on in action on episode 8-11.
As for the acting...
YAMAPI - OMG he's always like that... bland and annoying acting (don't burn me... I'm a Yamapi fan.. believe me XDD I think aside from Nobuta...he's acting and expressions are all the same) but he did well in the crying scene with his ba-chan...I admit I'm really touched .. and one more thing.... I REALLY WANNA CUT HIS THUMB... OMG
my rate: 7/10 (7 because I love him even his acting is ........)
GAKKY - I love her but her acting here is fluctuating... hmmm there are some scenes that she's emotionless (no worries you're still cute so it's still fine ) and there are some great scenes too where she's feeling guilty about what happened to Kuroda... I rated her 8/10
TODA ERIKA - despite of the fact that she's the youngest among the actors... she's the one who's more convincing among them..she looks so mature that I forgot her age at all and all I can say is that she motivates me to continue when the scenes were draggy hahahhaa (take note I don't like her at all when I watched this drama so I think I'm not biased here hhehe)
my rate: perfect 10
Asari Yosuke - HE's mega annoying in season 1 and looks like a high school boy... hahhaa well as for his acting I can't really judge since this is the first time that I saw him in a drama.
Higa Manami - at first she's annoying too (LOL looks like I really hated all the cast from the beginning XDDD) such a jealous nurse and bullying the doctors... LOL but she did a great job I think... hmmm and she starts to grew in me as the series goes on.
SP
I just love the SP... more actions and they give depth on Hiyama's character.... that was it... I love it cos it's about Hiyama hahahhaha :w00t:
my rate: 8/10
SEASON 2
I MUST say... I love this season than the first one... cos they did developed all the characters very well.... and they showed all the emotional sides of the characters... and as for they're acting they did improved all..YES EVEN YAMAPI and I'm quite happy about that... and they're expressions during operations were improved compared to season 1.... and oh I like Tachibana sensei (he's flirting with Hiyama.... hahahhaa) and the bonding between Hiyama and Shiraishi too... I just love it... and Kousaku became a bit sensitive too... (he's now expressing his sympathy in a right way or he just did acted it better than before...maybe)
my rate: 9/10
All in All I enjoyed this series very much that I am re watching it whenever I feel like I miss them.... hahhaa
this is really crazy thought but I wanted to see another season of this or at least A MOVIE though I dunno how they will come up with the story... hahahhaha (well the truth is I just wanted to see them again together.. and that was it XDDD)

Gotta agree with you on just about everything, I enjoyed season 2 alot more too. Also true about Gakky's character, she did become more serious in season 2, remember her being told that a couple of times. Yamapi, except for Nobuta, always seems to play a mopey, serious, unsmiling character, don't remember him smiling even once. Erika's character was the best though, she's proven she can play so many different roles and pull them off successfully. I liked Higa Manami in both seasons though, hard to explain why, think she has the potential to become real popular in the coming years, hope so ...I'll pass on any Asari Yosuke comments. Really wish there was another special, this drama was getting better every episode, wish they would give us something more. Just watched episode 3 again of season II, couple shots here.

Just finished watching both seasons of Code Blue. Both are great. What I feel really drives Code Blue are the characters and the strong character development given to everyone. Not one character receives too much focus and not one character receives too little.
I really liked the way Aizawa grew during season 1. He started out as a somewhat arrogant and cold-blooded doctor who only seemed to be in it for glory, but gradually grows out of it

after his grandma is hospitalized with dementia and when he feels responsibility for ending Dr. Kuroda's career after amputating his arm.
Shiraishi on the other hand, changed in the opposite direction from Aizawa. She went from being shy and "too nice" to being much more serious, especially in season 2.

Like Aizawa she had some family issues to deal with and felt responsible for ending Dr. Kuroda's career.
Hiyama was pretty much the same throughout season 1 but had some really tough issues to deal with during season 2. During season 2, I think she receives the most development.
Fujikawa is at times annoying but I really found myself rooting for him. He's the underdog character of the show, being the least skilled and at times irritating, but also being enthusiastic and determined to succeed. I really enjoyed his character, even if he was a little annoying at times.
Saejima was much like Aizawa, ultra-stoic but gradually loosen up.

I also felt her heartbreak with the situation with her dying boyfriend.
Overall, I think both seasons are a bit episodic, but both seasons prove that episodic seasons can be pretty darn good when there's strong character development and many good cases, as there were. Season 2 was a little darker and more tragic than season 1 and went deeper into the character's background, especially involving their families. Season 1 I felt started out a little bit slow then ended with a bang. Season 2 started out very good but slowed down just a tiny bit towards the end. Still, I think both are great dramas and I would definitely watch it if they came out with a 3rd season. Overall, I think both seasons deserve between an 8.5 and a 9. _________________
