Man With A Mission cancels Nevada concert of US tour

Rock band MAN WITH A MISSION has canceled the Nevada concert of their 'NORTH AMERICAN TOUR 2014'.

Through their official website, the band explained that the reason of the cancellation was due to "circumstances of local promoters." They apologized, "We deeply apologize for causing the inconvenience to those who were looking forward to it." There are no plans for a make-up show.

MAN WITH A MISSION kicked off their US tour on June 18 in New York. They have San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Anaheim as the remaining stops of the tour.

Kyosuke Himuro to suspend live activities after 2015

Himuro Kyosuke will be putting his live activities on hold after his final live scheduled in 2015.

During his Yamaguchi concert on July 13, Himuro surprised fans when he announced that he is planning to retire. After, it was announced on his official website that he would be suspending all live activities after his live plans next year. Details on his other music activities will be revealed at a later date.

Currently, Himuro is scheduled to to perform on July 19 and 20 at Yokohama Stadium. The upcoming concerts will be held to celebrate the 25th anniversary since Himuro's solo debut. It will also be his first time in about 16 years that he will perform an outdoor live.

Release of new Kasai Tomomi single postponed

Kasai Tomomi has postponed the release of her 4th single. This was announced on July 15 through her record company Nippon Crown.

The single was originally scheduled to be released on July 23; however, it will now be released two months after the original release date, on September 17. Nippon Crown explained that the single's release had to be postponed due to "circumstances with the production process," and promised, "the staff will work hard to make it an even better work."

Kasai also wrote on her official blog, "My single's release date has been pushed back! I'm sorry to announce this at such short notice." She continued, "It will definitely be a good single, so please wait a little bit more!!!!"

In related news, Kasai will hold a one-man live on July 25 at Daikanyama UNIT.

Straightener to release double-A side single and tour in Fall

Straightener have announced that they will release a double A-side single titled "Fuyu no Taiyou / The World Record" on September 17.

The new single will come just 3 months after releasing the last single "Super Magical Illusion".

In addition, it's been announced that Straightener will hold their tour 'Swimming City Flying Circus TOUR' in November. They will perform at CLUB QUATTRO venues in Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. The first press edition of their upcoming single will enclose details on ticket pre-orders.

Japanese all-female visual kei band exist��trace announced the title and release date of their new album WORLD MAKER at their July 19 one-man live show last weekend.

The news comes over two years after the release of the their first full album, VIRGIN, and it will be the first album to showcase the band's new twin-vocal approach developed with recent singles DIAMOND and Spiral Daisakusen.

WORLD MAKER will be released September 24 in regular and special editions with 2 music videos, including the latest MV "Spiral Diasakusen".

The band has been performing a series of monthly one-man lives this year, titled "Gekijyou Spiral", and they've just announced a co-headlining Japan tour with Take Ambulance, slated to start September 7.

DAIGO to release new single in September

DAIGO will release his new single titled "CHANGE!! / Shinpaishou na Kanojo" on September 10.

This will mark DAIGO's first single since releasing "BUTTERFLY / Ima Aitakute..." about 9 months ago. His upcoming double A-side single will consist of the rock tune "CHANGE!!" and "Shinpaishou na Kanojo" which is said to resemble J-pop from the 90's. Arranged by SHINPEI (BREAKERZ), "CHANGE!!" is the official song for the game 'Card Fight!! Vanguard' and will be used as the theme song for its film-adaptation 'Gekijouban Card Fight!! Vanguard: 3tsu no Game'.

The single will be released in 3 different versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and Regular Edition. The Limited Edition A DVD will come with the PV and off-shot footage for "CHANGE!!", while the Limited Edition B DVD will come with the PV and off-shot footage for "Shinpaishou na Kanojo". In addition, the Regular Edition will include a bonus track titled "SUPER JOY 2014", and the First Press Editions will enclose one "DAIGO card".

Details on Sheen Ringo's upcoming tour

Sheena Ringo has announced the details on her upcoming arena tour which will be held between November and December.

The tour will kick off on November 29 and 30 at Saitama Super Arena, followed by concerts at Osaka-jo Hall on December 9 and 10, and Marine Messe Fukuoka on December 21. In response to her early-summer tour 'Chotto Shita Recohatsu 2014', the upcoming tour was tentatively titled 'Chanto Shita Yatsu 2014'. At this time, the title of the tour has been decided as 'Ringo-haku '14 -Shoujo no Gyakushu-'.

Prior to general ticket sales, pre-reservations will take place from August 4 at 12:00 pm to August 18 at 11:59 pm for those who purchased her self-cover album "Gyakuyunyu" or her latest single "�m�h�o�o�n�m".

Galileo Galilei to release mini-album and tour in October

Galileo Galilei will release a new mini-album titled "See More Glass" on October 1.

Like their previous album "ALARMS", "See More Glass" will be co-produced with Pop Etc's Christopher Chu. Regarding the new album's concept, Ozaki Yuuki commented, "We just pursued the mood and the energy of the song and harmony that we like." The limited edition DVD will contain 3 songs from their live at Shibuya Kokaido back in February.

EXILE TRIBE has revealed the track list for their 1st album "EXILE TRIBE REVOLUTION" that's scheduled to be released on August 27.

The album will coincide the group's dome tour 'EXILE TRIBE PERFECT YEAR LIVE TOUR TOWER OF WISH 2014 �`THE REVOLUTION�`' which will kick off in September. EXILE's TAKAHIRO, NESMITH, and SHOKICHI, Sandaime J Soul Brothers' Imaichi Ryuji and Tosaka Hiroomi, GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE's Katayose Ryota and Kazuhara Ryuto will be participating as the vocalists. MIYAVI to release new single in September

MIYAVI will release a new single titled "Real?" on September 10.

The title track is an upbeat tune that's produced by Grammy Award winner Jam & Lewis. As the coupling track, the single will include a rock tune called "Set It On Fire" which was produced by Jeff Blue who is known for discovering Linkin Park. Additionally, the single will come with live audio from the London show of his world tour 'SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014' as the bonus track.

Along with the single, MIYAVI will simultaneously release a live and documentary DVD called "MIYAVI, THE GUITAR ARTIST -SLAP THE WORLD TOUR 2014-". It will be a two disc set in which DISC 1 will contain footage from the world tour, while DISC 2 will contain footage from the tour final at Zepp DiverCity TOKYO. Tokoro George establishes new record label and releases 2 albums

Tokoro George has established an independent label called 'Jam Cracker Record'. On September 13, he will simultaneously release two albums "JAM CRACKER 1" and "JAM CRACKER 2".

The albums will be sold for 756 yen (approximately $7.32 USD) each. "1" will be made up of 14 songs, while "2" will have 15. Both albums include a variety of songs packed with Tokoro's playfulness and love.

Sekai no Owari new single to be released in October

SEKAI NO OWARI's new single "Dragon Night" will be released on October 15. This single will be produced by Dutch DJ and producer Nicky Romero.

Following "Snow Magic Fantasy" and "Honoo to Mori no Carnival", this will be the band's 3rd single release this year. The title track is currently being used as the ending theme to SEKAI NO OWARI's movie 'TOKYO FANTASY' that opened in theaters on August 15.

The song had already been planned since the band's event 'Honoo to Mori no Carnival' last year. Through their collaboration with Nicky Romero, they were able to create a fantasy dance party song with the band's concept "TOKYO FANTASY".

The single will be released in 3 different versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and Regular Edition. The limited editions will come with a CD including live audio from the band's arena tour 'Honoo to Mori no Carnival -Star Land hen-' which was held from April to June of this year.

Perfume to release world tour on DVD/Blu-Ray

Perfume will release their live footage "Perfume WORLD TOUR 2nd" on DVD and Blu-ray on October 1.

The DVD/Blu-ray will feature the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire (London) show of Perfume's first European tour they held last year. The first press edition of both DVD and Blu-ray will enclose a sticker that has the same design as the jacket cover.

In addition, Perfume's DVD "Perfume WORLD TOUR 1st", which was released last year, will be released in Blu-ray form on the same day. This featured the Singapore performance of Perfume's first world tour which was held in 2012.

Tohoshinki will release their new single "Time Works Wonders" on November 5.

Unlike their summer tune "Sweat", "Time Works Wonders" will be a fall ballad that expresses melancholy. The single will be available in 4 different versions.
