HY to release new album in February
HY have announced that they will be releasing their new album "GLOCAL" on February 26, 2014.
HY are currently in the middle of their live house tour 'HY TO-HAI TOUR 2013', which will run until December 7 at 7th Heaven Koza, Okinawa. Their new album announcement was made on November 27 during their concert at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO, Tokyo. Regarding the album's title, Shinzato Hideyuki (Vo, G) commented, "It seems like an existing word, but it's a word that resulted from a cross between 'GLOBAL' and 'LOCAL'. Because most of our activities take place in Okinawa, we put in our thoughts of the theme 'from Okinawa to the world'."
"GLOCAL" will be HY's 9th album, and it will also be their first from their new label 'ASSE!! Records'. To coincide with the album's release, they will also be holding a nationwide tour. More details on the album and tour will be announced later.

Leo Ieiri to release new single in January
Ieiri Leo will be releasing her new single "Chocolate" on January 29.
On December 13, Ieiri celebrated her 19th birthday. Then on December 15, she held a release event for her single "Taiyou no Megami" in Tokyo with invited guests. The new single release was reported by Ieiri herself during the event. She also gave a special performance for the audience.
"Chocolate" is a love song that Ieiri wrote at 16 years of age when she first moved from Fukuoka to Tokyo. The theme of the song revolves around bittersweet memories of Valentine's day. It's based on an actual experience of Ieiri's when she was 12-years-old.
She commented, "Everybody has gone through it at least once. I want to continue to value those tainted feelings. With such feelings, I wanted to sing this now, during the last of my teens at the age of 19, and so I decided on this release." "Of course, for fans looking forward to it, but also for many other people. It would make me happy if you would feel a piece of me that's slightly different from my usual self."
The single will be released in three different forms: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and Limited Edition C. For the coupling track, it will include live tracks from the Zepp DiverCity TOKYO concert of 'Ieiri Leo 2nd One-man Tour ~Kimi ni Todoke~' held on November 28th.
