took a break from jdoramas as i had no time.. but now i have a little too much time -.-;; so i been on a tear lately lol, but i'm starting to run out.. so i thought i'd turn to the experts here

i'm looking for anything that has (even a little) bit of romance between the 2 main characters. something not overly depressing, has an attractive female lead (sorry i'm a guy -.-), not in highschool, and easily accessible online.

here's a list of most of the dramas i've watched, i only forced myself to get through a handful of them, but most of them are similar in the theme i'm asking for. the latest one i finished was buzzer beat and i really enjoyed it (& keiko -.-)

thanks

edit:

Fukatsu Eri - Slow Dance
Matsushima Nanako - Beauty or Beast (Bijou ka Yajuu)
Ito Misaki - Itoshi Kimi e (this is more depressing and she's only 2nd lead, but it's a good drama)

Would also recommend Love Revolution - has a lot of romance, attractive leads, and is not depressing.

Hello, i'm new in here. w00t!

I really miss J-Drama/movie. Could you recommend me drama/movie in the last 4 years till now.
Genre:
1. I'm NOT into musical drama, sport, medical
2. ENJOY drama, thriller, yakuza
3. LOVE romance comedy, culinary, fashion, school live

I just can remember this far that i ever watched and i love it:
-Long Vacation
-GTO
-Strawberrry On Shortcake

Don't gimme tragic drama, even it's a romantic, i don't wanna drop heavy tears right now ^___^

Thank you ~~~~ <3

I just finished watching Bara no nai Hanaya KN̂Ȃԉ Flower Shop Without Roses (2008). It is really good, and Yuko is as pretty as ever; highly recommended.

Im looking for a certain type of drama.

Does anyone know any thing similar to Densha Otoko? What i am looking for is an unlikely love between 2 people, but instead of some perfect guy, im looking for the opposite where the guy may have some type of problem or etc.

Other similar ones I know is Star no Koi and Celeb to Binbo Taro.

(Non-Comedies)
"Love Story" - romance between nasty author and newbie editor
"Gegege No Nyobo" - romance after marriage between manga artist and rich merchant's daughter
Cinderella wa nemuranai - romance between serial murderer and hotelier
Kimi ga oshietekureta koto - romance between autistic girl and psychiatrist
Pure - romance between retarded girl and unscruplous reporter
Konna koi no hanashi - romance between poor girl and unscruplous millionaire

(Comedies)
The all-time favourite "Kekkon Dekinai Otoko" and "Bus-Stop"

any recommendations?

oh and also any good family dramas? comedy touching family dramas? like Akimahende, Mukodono, at home dad, okane ga nai...

^ Psychological drama, Galileo. Although it's probably more of a detective drama.

Home dramas: Hitotsu Yane no Shita (also goes by "Under One Roof"), Hotman, and appropriately enough Home Drama.

I don't have to go far. I have a double kitchen at home...and I eat in both of them. Beaten

Yeah, but in all seriousness, you might have to trade for that drama, but it's worth it. Great acting and great laughs.

Here are some dramas that I recommend:

crying out love, in the center of the world (2004)
- The plot is not unique (girlfriend dies from leukemia), but the acting is really superb. I'm not into tear-jerkng series but this one had really made me cry. This drama is about moving on after someone you love dies.

shiawase ni narou yo
- unique story (about a matchmaking agency) and funny.Smile

Koukousei Restaurant
- One of the main characters here is played by Ryunosuke Kamiki. He is the voice behind Bo (Spirited Away), Sho (The Borrower Arrietty), Marukuru (Howl's Moving Castle), etc . So if you love Ghibli movies, you may like this drama.

Juunen Saki mo Kimi ni Koishite
- It's about a guy who goes back to the past to stop his wife from marrying him.

True.

That said, it's more of an adult show from a previous era and lacking the prerequisite fangirl bait that's part of today's J-drama landscape...

For sure. It's from a time well before that sometimes (often) lamentable phenomenon began.

Heello! Haven't been watching anything for a while - mostly due to the fact that I've been terribly busy with school and work. Shameful Cry Now I got a little time and I'd like to watch something.
Any good new (2010-2012) mystery/suspense dramas with a lot of twists and turns? I really loved Unfair and Maou, so something similar would be really appreciated Smile
