I haven't seen the Koizora movie or drama, but I can recommend one high school romance drama, Strawberry on the Shortcake. Other than that, I can't think of any other high school romance dramas that I've seen.

Thanks for the recommendation! Cool name for a drama w00t!

I saw the movie Swing Girls. Loved it! That's the kind of movie/drama that I like. Thanks!

What kind of music? There's Taiyou no Uta, which is about a girl who dreams to sing for the rest of her life. It's sad at times but sweet and romantic.

Any kind of music is ok. Thanks for the recommendation! Sounds like a very interesting drama.

Well, Muri Renai, :http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1275.htm, Shogo Tachiki is involved in the music business, but there's not a lot of music in it. Still, a nice drama.

And a great performance by Natsukawa Yui. Victory! Peace!

Haven't seen this one so I can't give you an opinion but it looks music related. They're going to start showing it here over the air on 1/1: http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1647.htm

Also found this, so I guess the drama is music related:

It was announced that the band A.N.JELL from the TBS drama gIkemen Desu neh will make their official debut on October 5 2011.

This band was originally a fictional band for the drama with Johnnyfs Entertainment members Tamamori Yuta (Kis-My-Ft2) as Katsuragi Ren, Fujigaya Taisuke (Kis-My-Ft2) as Fukishiro Shu, Yaotome Hikaru (Hey! Say! JUMP) as Hongo Yuki, and actress Takimoto Miori as Sakuraba Mio/Miko.

Their debut CD temporary titled gA.N.JELL with TBS eIkemen Desu nef Music Collectiong, will contain two discs – one including all four songs from the band and the other focusing on the OST of the drama with a special package to add. It will be released in two versions of Limited Edtion and Regular Edition with the limited version including an original PV and a special CD jacket. Also, the first-print version of this regular version will enclose a rare CD jacket before Sakuraba was a member.

For Yui fans, try Shiawase no Kiiroi Hankachi. It's an Abe Hiroshi x Yui drama similar to Kekkon Dekinai Otoko Smile The bad side is... it's only a one episode drama (2 hrs). But it's amaaazing.

Still looking for good drama... Started Arifureta Kiseki, but dropped it. It just didn't grip my interest.

DOCTORS Saikyou no Meii is a good catch this season. Good cast plus good comedic moments.

Medical drama. The focus wasn't about surgeons doing miracles like Team Batista or hospitals going bankrupt like Tomorrow. And it doesn't have superheroes.

Takashima Masanobu is back on the screen as a doctor. I thought he is replaying his sadistic role in Fuyu no Sakura. Thankfully not. He plays an egoistic, self-conscious surgeon. He and his henchmen, and his aunt make this drama funny to watch THIS IS NOT A COMEDY but it's funny.

Hmmm, let's see, last 3 or 4 years, eh, , , ,

2008 - Seigi no Mikata, Muri na Renai, Daisuki!!, and Pandora.

2009 - Fumo Chitai, JIN, Shiroi Haru, and Love Shuffle.

2010 - Magararenai Onna, Shinzamono, and Atami no Sousakan. (although Atami is a little on the weird side)

2011 - Marumo no Okite, Don Quixote, and Soredemo, Ikite Yuku. (Soredemo is the best drama I've seen in years!! Although, a heads up, it's pretty intense.)

Adding Soratobu Taiya (2008) and Gaiji Keisatsu (2009) to the list.

I also recommend JIN and Love Shuffle. Just finished JIN a week or so ago, and I have a new-found respect for Haruka Ayase. She was terrific in that production.

The first season of JIN was pretty good, but the second season has been tiring and downright excruciating at times. bleh

Intense. Real intense. The two leads, Eita and Hikari Mitsushima were both great. If you're looking for something warm and fuzzy then don't look here, but I really liked it a lot.

^ Yes, it's a very heavy drama. I'm in episode 6 now and I'm so liking it.

Eita never fails in his acting. Hikari's great too. I loved her in Bloody Monday 2 and Love Exposure. Applaud

Im looking for a certain type of drama.

Does anyone know any thing similar to Densha Otoko? What i am looking for is an unlikely love between 2 people, but instead of some perfect guy, im looking for the opposite where the guy may have some type of problem or etc.

Other similar ones I know is Star no Koi and Celeb to Binbo Taro.

The first one that comes to my mind is 101 Kaime no Puropozu.
