True, true...but I'm glad you found a new place you were able to try the Katsu don at...I'm still surprised that there aren't more Japanese places that are more easily accessible to you...I know there is a strong trading relationship b/n Oz and Japan. Smile

I recently saw this Katsu Sando vs. Osaka sushi battle...dayem that tonkatsu looked awesome! As did the sushi...I've never tried Osaka sushi before...it's molded in a box so that the nigiri sushi comes out in perfect squares...

Damn! Very Fast Response! Bow I've tried the torrents their in the past but unfortunately 2 or 3 ppl were seeding & the transfer rate was slower then dial up. After hours & hours, it eventually stopped dling. Well thanks anyways.

I've beeen reading this topic since......well a bit before the show was canceled, & I remember reading about......well actually its on the previous page or two from this topic. That thing about the 5 or 6 discs of the show, any word on making copies to sell them ? I've seen some classics on youtube but the quality makes the food look......well just not as tasty as I remembered bleh

There's also a few eps on Veoh. If you have their client software installed, you can download the eps in good quality video (~700MB)

There's actually a few more eps than I first thought: If you search with "Dochi" and variations of that, you'll probably bring up a few more.

I just finished burning one episode I downloaded from there to DVD Smile

I'm assuming there was a lot of "oohing" and "aahing" and borderline orgasms by the participants while they were watching the dishes prepared.
And the most important thing, it doesn't matter if it's toast vs. crackers, as long as SMAP guy doesn't get to eat!!! w00t!

I wonder if it'll be episodes not previously shown or repeats from its earlier run a few years ago? Ah, so envious of you guys up in L.A. Sad

From the preview, it looks all new... But SMAP guy is still in the show. Beaten

So you can't pick up 18.2 at all?

When I see the station call letters on the screen, it says Los Angeles/Long Beach/San Diego.... Sweat

i'm fine with reruns, but i would like to see the remaining shows we didn't get to see. might be worth getting a DVR now that there is much more to see (and my vcr's broken anyway)
