You can go to Smappies thread for more info. Takuya hinted that he will be in a new drama but he doesn't say what or when. And also, Sonomama, a new SMAP single will be out on March 5th, it's the ending theme for Goro's drama, Sasaki Fusai no Jingi Naki Tatakai. _________________

Trailer for I Come with the Rain Takuya's upcoming movie. I'm really excited by it I must say; it looks like the type of movie I'd watch even if he wasn't in it :-)

wooooooo sounds like a great film =] but how come e website doesnt mention takuya in the synopsis?? bahhhh. josh hartnett looks so much better now[than in pearl harbour] i guess its e moustache. but still, takuya looks better. in e scene when josh hartnett looks at the wall with takuya's foto, takuya looks suuuuuper pretty. i tot tts a girl's face for a moment =p hope it'll be aired in sg =]]
They don't really mention Kimura's name probably because it looks like this movie will be marketed to the West and it's Josh Hartnett's movie. Most people in Western civilization will have no clue who Kimura is. That's not saying they won't play it everywhere else though, during which they will probably include his name since he could sell the heck out of it in Asia.

anyone watched CHANGE yet? i tink his new hair style is quite funny but not bad, at least its really a different style for him. but i read on e newspaper tt this show didnt beat gokusen 3. haha but i haven watched both so i cant comment.

It didn't beat Gokusen, but it was the most watched orginal drama debut in 3 years from what I hear.
I watched it and I like it a lot so far. It has a nice mix of comedy and drama, I think Takuya is doing a wonderful job (as are Abe and Eri). I'm really looking forward to seeing where this might go.

Original drama as in original script, not based on another book, novel, manga, anime, or another drama/movie. _________________

ooooh! thnk u =] actually i duno bt most dramas unless i really pay attention to their credits =p but yeah now u talk abt it, most dramas seem to be really based on some published article.

I also was lucky enough to see the first part of 'Change'. I really enjoyed it even tho no English subs. I thought Kimura san lookd so totally nerdy as the school teacher. He looked very comfortable with the hair style and casual cardigan etc. Very comfortable also with the children in the class.
There is no way they can take away his charm and attraction no matter how they try to make him seem ordinary......
He will obviously turn out to be a mcuh more vocal and opinionated politician as the drama moves on. Hope that the second part will be uploaded.
I just love Kimura san.He is such a good actor, apart from all his other talents.

FYI Episode 2 is up on d-addicts. Ratings stayed pretty consistent (around 23% I think). I think that's good; that means people who tuned the first time decided to stay with the show.
