Whoa people are trying to shut me up...lol....anyways I'm not particularly fond of any other j-rock bands because they do stick to one style and that's what I like about l'arc. If I want to listen to music like the B'z as mentioned earlier I'd rather listen to Aerosmith...other jrock bands have styles which fall under other categories easily and those categories have bands which would waste these jrock bands to pieces. How often will you hear Ken-like guitar work in the north america? His sound is so natural yet unnatural and that's what drew me to them (with Hyde's vocals a close second). Sure there's some bands which may sound like Ken playing guitar, but if I wanna hear Ken-like guitar playing I listen to Ken. Anemone and C'est la vie are songs that people other here can never play as well as bands like L'arc and its the style which drew me to them. Likewise if I did want to listen to songs like Revelation I'd rather listen to Marilyn Manson (although I'd never want to listen to him ^^).
I love every song on the album, Revelation is one of my favorites. I don't know if there's ever been a L'arc song that I've totally disliked. They're my overall favorite band, but I like others like Dir En Grey, X- japan, etc etc.

I hope you're not talking about me... I was really just trying to express my opinion!!!
I don't want for you to listen to Marilyn Manson... but believe me "Revelation" (song that I like very much) is similar to some Manson's songs... that's all, of course Laruku are better!!!

Sorry for not being much help, but the main reason people listen to L'arc is because no one can imitate their style of song writing.
you've been so much helping indeed... btw i fully agree with your last sentense... and about Nirvana, RHCP and Incubus... hmmm i don't know but i think L'arc earlier style is still different. Hey Blue did you ever hear Europe's glam rock groups ( france group myb??? ) at 80's, some friend of mine said there a similiarities between L'arc style and them... shakehead:
I din't have any idea about that, do you???
o yea and about Evanescence lead vocal... whoa... i never noticed it!!! I'll check again later ( but i doubt she has the same vocal level as Hyde does ) _________________

seriously??? i never noticed that either... (well, I never checked, but whenever i listen to evanescence, i never automatically think of hyde)
I never really noticed the evanescene thing either until l8ly when I was watching this commercial and I just instantly thought of Hyde's 666 album. I'm pretty sure she can go very high vocally (since girls can naturallly go higher) but she doesn't display it as well. Snakehead???.....hmmm...I'll check them out.....
