Introductions are pretty much done in polite form or keigo, formal form. You'll want to do them in normal polite Japanese.

why don't you start a thread for hougen? I'm sure amurayu and i will be regular contributors. I'd love to start one thread about , but i wouldn't know where to start, either here (Learn JPNese) or in another section (General Disc.).

And that's why i refrained from that thread. And besides, it's hougen, not "hogan" (as in the hulkster).
