Reading the reviews, it's amazingly violent...just watched Freesia...also very bloody, hoping Eastern Promises makes more sense...
keywords: male frontal nudity, female frontal nudity, rape... Eastern Promises sounds scary.
Freesia? the Tamayama Tetsuji Freesia? i saw that in the rental today, it was out. But i got Unfair the movie instead.
on topic: just saw Mr. & Mrs. Smith

I saw Eastern Promises...it was pretty good at drawing you into this underworld of Russian gangs in London. It has some serious violence.

Can't go wrong with Hitchcock! edit: Next year go with The Birds I also like Rear Window and North by Northwest but they're not really scary, more suspenseful.

Why next year?
Also check out the original The 39 Steps by Hitchcock... Really old, but really good.

I'm planning on showing the Rear Window as well. It fits perfectly as a psychological horror.
