doesn't sync with the sub. well it does for the part 1, but it's missing a few lines in the end.
i guess part of the beggining of the Part 2 sub has to be in the Part 1 sub.
does anyone know how to edit subtitles?
Yeah, I had the same problem, but I used a program called Time Adjuster and shifted all the subs in Part 2 by two seconds and it appears to have fixed the problem.
Now that the subs are in sync, I'm editing the subs for grammar and spelling.

Testing out my edited subtitles for Kame wa Igai to Hayaku Oyogu right now... If they're OK, I'll post a Sendspace link...
You're putting a lot of work into a film that frankly doesn't deserve your effort...
I watched it tonight (using Gomplayer to synch the subs) ...put simply, the Turtles we waited for, for so long, is not a good movie...actually, it's pretty bad...If you liked ArchAngels, you'll like this one...they both make about as much sense, which is to say, none...
it has genuinely funny moments, but they were few and far between...
of course, you'll have a wealth of cute Juri screencaps out of this... _________________

I beg to differ, if just a little. Warau Mikaeru is probably the worst of anything Juri-sama partook in to date. Kame wa Ogai to Hayaku Oyogu, however, did try to put across a message, even if it didn't do it very well. I can identify several themes in this movie:
1. It's tough trying to blend-in (the spies);
2. When you have a purpose, everyday chores took on a new meaning (Susume doing house chores);
3. The pasture is always greener on the other side (Kujyaku envying Susme's life).
In this respect I think Kame is slightly superior to Mikaeru. Bear in mind though, that Mikaeru was an adaptation of a comic - the original fun and humor may have been ruined during the transformation into a movie.

This is exactly where this movie should have gone ...the idea that you have a special purpose in your daily life being a spy...they did it for a while with Suzume, but lost the focus by concentrating on all the other spies... _________________

Agreed. The main philosophy behind this movie seems to be 'Life is not what it seems.' However the director was trying too hard to present this message in so many ways, it got lost in the process. Ironic, isn't it?

Oh well, what's done is done...
There's always that hope that it'll be good and I worked on the subs with that in mind... It couldn't be as bad as Warau Mikaeru... It just can't.
Now let's start wishing for the subs for Rainbow Song and Shiawase no Switch...
