Oddly enough. I never noticed any spectacular d/l speeds, just a consistent 60 to 80 kBps...I have Earthlink cable

Um, that's not spectacular? I would be happy with a consistent 10kb/s Bleah

Well, that's pretty much what I'm used to as well...I guess so many "sharers" are available it kind of kept a good speed ...woah, the second half has finished as I type...ja ne

Just finished the emule d/l of the first part of Rainbow Song...as expected the video quality is excellent...the second half d/l should be finished in less than an hour...someone has requested subs at kloofy & that usually gets the process started, so we just have to wait...

Any reason why you chose the eMule download over the BT download?

Yes, the link provided for the BT d/l didnt do anything...it's like my browsers could'nt deal with it...the same goes for the emule link..so I just started emule, searched for Rainbow Song, and found a reasonable number of sharers, and now I have both parts...

That's odd, I didn't have any problem with the BT link.... You've had that problem before with the links that A-Dad posted as well.

Is it possibly a firewall or ISP blocking issue?

I don't understand why they couldn't just use AVI, since it's a container as well.

Because AVI is dead and it should be left in the coffin?
Instead, it is forcefully sustained and hacked from left to right and back and that is why it's able to "contain" newest High-Tech codecs.
But this is just ersatz.

Remember, native container for MPEG4ASP codec (DivX5/6 , XviD) is MP4.
MKV is third party Open Source fully featured container (even more featured than MP4) which could also hold every aspect of MPEG4AVC/MPEG4ASP codec features and even more.

she will turn 21 soon. Hopefully her stars will become brighter eventhough she's getting older.

Hmmm, only world domination would be better than where she is now...and getting older? At 21? She's in her prime!

She said somewhere that she played it when she was younger... There was some footage from the Nodame "special" (a promo, really) showing her practicing and she seemed to have the finger dexterity to look convincing.

On the flip side, the footage of her playing a piano in Kagayaku Onna (her travels through England) showed that she's still a novice: she played well, albeit slowly and deliberately.

I think she's still on the upswing and hasn't hit her peak yet. Victory! Peace!

I think it was in the Nodame Cantabile Special that Juri-sama said she played the piano from pre-school, and stopped when she entered junior high school. At a rough guess she probably achieved grade 4. She probably still knew a few tunes but not likely to be able to play very fluent, like Nodame did.
