Quote: | There was a time when i use to get backdoor seven attacks like 8 times a day!!! Didnt found out about it until I installed a firewall. Most of the attacks seems to originate from brazil and europe!!! |
Norton Firewall tends to show up a bit, Norton always informs about subseven attacks, quite often a day. As for the other attacks, I have never seen it has informed.
Quote: | I'm using norton right now. but there's a good free firewall, forgot the name though. | I'm using Zone Alarm all the way! Easy to use and comprehend. Used ZA since the bough of this comp, hehe. Never faced any problems on ZA before, stable and efficient enough! Lighter than Norton firewall, eats less process.

I have not used Kerio myself. But after some quick research, the general consensus seems to be that ZoneAlarm is better suited for the novice users whereas Kerio is better for the advanced users.
ZoneAlarm is a "set and forget" type of firewall. Kerio on the other hand requires more user intervention, but is more configurable and can be as secure if not more than ZA if configured correctly.

For straight Japanese drama, when Hobankyou stepped in for Japanese video rental stores (stores now have to pay a fee to Hobankyou and also must face rules to not carry older videos), many of the stores that closed down had to get rid of their videos. I purchased the back/remaining inventory from several stores.
As for English subtitled drama, from many years of trading with other j-dorama fans or recording them from TV.
My dorama collection starts from back in 1986... so I guess you can say I have a lot.
