Hey Genma, I was wondering what you plan to do with the site after having received feedback from us site members. (No rush)

I'm actually more concerned with the visual layout of the site more than anything else. Maybe its time for a brighter background? Maybe a hint of something Japanese on it since this concerns J-dramas?
The only other thing I'd like would be the updates for "New Dramas" to be more current. And also for "artists" and the like.

I understand you are busy. Totemo isogashii deshoo! FYI, this site is my favorite concerning dramas, and you have the best message board.

The revamped jdorama.com is already partially done (with the basic stuff except forum and reviews). However, it is not open to public yet.

The plan is for helpers to update the "New Dramas" and Artiste information. Think I would hardly have time to do that myself again.

As for when the update will be.... well, to be frank, I don't know. It may be quite some time from now.

Can you have a partial release first? i.e. just update dnew dramas. Maybe the top 20 of the year from Oct 2001 to current 2002

Updating these dramas is very time-consuming. It starts from hunting for information such as English/Chinese/Japanese titles, cast, soundtrack themesongs, durations, and most importantly, synopsis. Then these data have to be keyed into the database.

I myself have not watched any dramas beyond whatever's listed in this website, so the process will take quite some time.

Sorry to hear that! I think your site is the best Dorama site. Too bad that you cannot update this more often. This will force your site visitors to post all new drama reviews under the forum section! For the newer info, I have been visiting a Taiwanese drama site. They have weekly updates on ratings and news. They also have a forum section but it is in Chinese. Honestly, I hardly visit pages of the older dramas because I already have most of them in my collection.

We appreciate what you have done and are doing though Genma, ganbare.

This is the best Dorama site! For new information gathering, you can name the drama(s). I sure many people can help, including cast, soundtrack theme songs, durations, synopsis and scanned picture. I have a lot of information on the newer dramas. I you need it, I can email them to you in a MS Word document. I think keying info into the database is a different story. Can you copy and paste info into a field? Or you have to rekeyed everything? I'm sorry that you have not watched any newer drama. Well, I think the older ones are better anyway!
