Genma, just because I'm a Computer Science geek at heart and also an engineer by profession, how about making the combined limit 256K (2^8) instead of 200K?
That way it's in a traditional binary increment:
256K = 1 0000 0000
200K = 0 1100 1000
Or, for hexadecimal:
255K = FF
Veni vidi vino!

Great, so you mean there's no need to order the "Remove Stupidity in 5 Easy Steps" course?
And PCM, even I couldn't get more geeky than that your logical response. Next you'll be saying that we should only speak in binary.

To be totally correct, it should be 1b + 1b = 10b.

1111 1111 -> 0 to 255. (256 positions)
please do not carry on wrong information.
even if this would be a good thing, binary size limits for avatars
are not usual (do not have seen any).
edit: photobucket (http://photobucket.com) has limited the filesizes to 32, 64, 128, 256 or 512kbytes. the user has the choice.
