OK, i should get to bed, but this has bugged me throughout the entire series

why the hell won't makino HUG Domyoji?! Really?! I can understand why she didn't earlier becuase he wasn't very nice then. But I think the only time she MIGHT have hugged him back was after he had gotten his ass kicked for her by Sakurako's thugs. 99% of the time he just grabs her and hugs her and she stands there and looks into in shoulder... LIke in the scene where she's upset because of what's going on with her family and Okami-san's dango shop and he calms her down and tells her how the rest of F4 are handling it and everything is gonna be ok stuff, she jsut stands there crying and looking at him. And even after he pulls her to him and gives her a hug, she stands there, with her arms at her sids and cries into his shoulder. He's done like a billion nice things for her, but she gives him nada! I mean throw the guy a freaking bone! Rui's gotten more action than him!
Maybe I'm being culturally insensitive on some level, I'm not sure, but I don' tthink they're anything wrong with giving the guy that's bending over backward to help you save your family and friends a nice hug of appreciation.

the RAIN scene... they BETTER FREAKING HAVE IT. but how can they have it with a freakng PAGENT going on at the same time?! what the heck are they doing. they should have the last episode be like 2 hours if theyr'e gonna jam pack that much stuff into one episode. if they're gonna have the rain scene and everything happen, which they proly WONT, why couldnt they just make the drama longer? i do not want it to end up w/them breaking up, what the heck, and i dont think that HYD producers would make that the ending only to have a special...
and whats really sad is that i dont think its gonna be all that touching if they just make EVERYTHING happen in the last episode like boom boom boom, because thats completely not realistic and doesnt give the audience a CHANCE to let the events SINK IN and to think about it a little...
i can imagine it now, something crazy happens, the audience gasps, and then its resolved immediately.. noo... its a drama, it has to be at least a LITTLE dramatic.. i understand if they dont want it to drag but gosh this is just the completely opposite... and to the extreme too...
now im getting madder... :-/ these last few eps better do the manga justice, i hope.. or at least have just the right amount of things happening so that its not like a huge mess of events that leave us feeling dazed... such that if someone blinks they miss something important happening...

they'll prolly just skip to the end now... what, like have her figure out during the pageant and then rush there, and then have something similar to the meteor garden ending, maybe? but who was that girl, was that the fiance? and then if so... whats gonna happen w/THAT? hmm... i can imagine them locking dom up and saying that he wont get let out till their wedding or something but... eh... still, i dunno... the whole pageant thing.. NOW... is kinda puzzling to me...

YUP!!!! totally agree with this one....i really like rui in MG [coz i think he did more than domyoji in meteor garden] but in HYD i really realize that domyoji done a lot for her...i mean A LOT!!! and for what?? i dont think domyoji got anything from her
well...i love makino...its just coz of that scene i throwed my pillow to my computer and yelling "just F**ck*ing hug him will ya???" [and my mum get angry at me coz i did that to my lovely computer [gomene computer-chan ]

mmmmss, it's the second to last episode! what am i gonna do on fridays now when i need something to make me feel better from my crappy week? ahhgh. they really took that extra 15 minutes to the extreme at the end don't you think, big bold letters flashing "extra 15 minutes!" damn it just add 1 more episode or something! i think they did that with gokusen, like it was originallly 11 episode but they added an extra one. rui looked sooo hot in this episode. his hair is a lil different in the front i think.

even though it wasn't jun playing the piano, he looked so frekaing hot doing it. and the hug scene, awww. hug me jun! i do agree, makino's not cutting him any slack at all, what's a boy gotta do for a lil hug huh? besides, get himself beat up and saving your family and such things. my goodness, she ain't easy that's for sure. ayano is the fiance and makino's doing the pageant to try to raise money to pay off her father's debt. haha i just htought it was funny, that the guy that knocked jun out was wearing full on black with a beanie and sunglasses in the restroom!!! it's like come on! it's during the bloody day! you can blend in more with normal clothes. and the appearance of another tricked out van. wow. they sure love them some vans in hana yori dango don't they. it was awesome how rui saved her, but the kick seemed kinda fake.....i don't think they're gonna do the rain break up scene cuz they didn't "try" dating, so there's nothing to break up from.
ok, if they don't give me a kiss scene, and a very good one at that, in ep 9, i'm seriously gonna go crazy and start beating my computer, and i love my computer, it's been a good computer for the past year, but that's just what hana yori dango does to me. so for the sake of my computer, let's pray they don't screw it up and make ep9 the best freaking episode ever and with a kiss scene that makes ME see fireworks. hahaha.

I was a bit annoyed when watching ep 8

with Makino, because I think she's so stubborn. She has to solve everything by herself. Tsukasa has done so much for her, and says that if she gets into trouble she should go to him, but she just ignores him. Doesn't even answer his calls. Even if I know that she has her pride, but yet... I mean, it's the next-to-last episode, still she doesn't show much feelings for him, and he's like "I love you, I'll protect you..." all the time.
I was wondering if they really are going to have that rain scene break-up, now that Tsukasa already has been kidnapped. I totally agree that this drama is way too short, they have to force everything.... it doesn't make it realistic with this speed.... If there's going to be a happy end, how is they supposed to convince Tsukasa's mom that it's okay that Tsukasa and Makino really love each other, and that love is more important that mommie's company??
Anyway, maybe I shouldn't complain that much, it's a really good show, so I probably should just enjoy

one last thing, haha i'm back for more!
it was kinda lonely without a doumyouji fashion disaster. the whole episode i was just waiting for something ugly to show up and it didn't. there's just something missing now that there's nothing ugly that pops out at me. it's like "you're ugly but hey you make me notice how hot jun is more!" maybe, just maybe, they'll add a lil ugly thing in ep 9? hahaaha, i really HAVE gone crazy over hana yori dango. whenever i think of doumyouji, i always think of him as like the red ranger type, the brash, loud, but cool and heroic and strong, saves the day leader of the group. so if doumyoji is the red ranger then i guess rui woudl be the green/white ranger and soujiro the blue ranger? so does that make akira the black ranger that didn't really get that many storyliens and was jsut there? WHY AM I TALKING ABOUT POWER RANGERS?!! anyways, most people probably didn't even watch it. i've really gone crazy. curse you hana yori dango! _________________

i share most of your guys' frustration with makino. why the heck can't she just give doumyouji some slack?!? at least HUG him, for goodness sakes. here he is spilling his heart out to her and she hardly responds. ahhhh!!!! i was waiting for the kiss, too, in this episode because it would have been perfect. my heart was melting when he hugged her and told her he'll always protect her. awww!!!
i agree, there are way too many things happening in this episode that it's hard to keep up and absorb. they should have made this series longer!! or at least have a second season to round off the plot and all the characters.
i really liked this episode except for those factors and also the fact that there's really no wardrobe malfunction to make fun of. sad times. that's really the highlight of this series for me. hehehe
lol. POWER RANGERS!!! that's awesome. i can just imagine in my head all of em saying together "it's morphin' time!" _________________

it sucks that theres no rain scene or anything like that because they've barely been through enough trials together to even convince the mom that they really love each other.
heck how do WE even know that makino loves him?! we DONT cuz she doesnt even hug him or initiate anything at all....
the sad part tho is that personally im not even expecting a big kiss scene anymore, they have to kiss but considering how its going, i woud not be surprised if it was some small lil kiss and then like... bam, we're done.
