Yup the tennis drama that Ueto Aya acted in is Ace no Narae and there is special as well. As for the historical drama, I do not think it is broadcast in Japan yet.

Normally the name of the company that produces the vcd will be at the back of the vcd box... I just bought Waterboys 2 frm TS... Though its produced frm Tian Ying Guo Ji, when i play e vcd, the Unique-Tokyo logo appears... makes me wonder if the vcds selling in SG r somewhat pirated... But, nvm lar, can watch n can can satisfy our appetite can le, hehe tads wad matters!!

I'm abit hesistant to buy Sekai drama, cos i wanna watch e movie version 1st... I saw e trailer n read frm mags abt e movie, makes me wanna watch it badly...!!! so i'm kinda afraid tad i won't like e movie as much if i watched e drama 1st, haha...

YuPz.. the ones i bought in malaysia also says tian ying guo ji on the box but the unique-tokyo logo came out when i play the disc. guess u cant really tell if it's unique-tokyo unless u play them. but i think the recent dramas are all from unique-tokyo and the clear pictures do satisfy my big appetite. rofl

I just came back from Shanghai and am really reallY lucky to watch sekai movie on the plane back to SG! Victory! Peace! SQ's on-flight entertainment is currently screening it. Well, the movie bears little resemblance to the drama. alot of the significant details are taken out. but i like the role Ritsuko(played by kou shibasaki) played by being the middle man between Aki and Saku. It's something different from the drama yet touching too.
on the whole, i think have to watch the movie 1st.. otherwise you wouldnt find the movie that fantastic like me after watching the drama. And YuPz, both drama and movie has such wonderful theme songs too. w00t!

SOrry for the long post! Sweat

Oh yes, i esp like the drama theme song ~<3 I also heard from a friend who just came from Japan not long ago that she also watched the movie on SQ lol...i wonder what makes SQ want to show sekaichuu among so many movies hehe maybe the boss likes it too heh heh... Mr Green

Oh so..i shall watch the movie first b4 anything else...what abt the novel and manga? in what sequence do you think that i should do it?? novel first? ^^;;;

YuPz.. i think sekaichuu movie is probably one of the blockbusters in Japan.. that's why can air on SQ among so many other international movies..

Im very sorry.. cant help u about the manga and novel because i read neither myself. but personally, i think should start with novel first? since manga is more entertaining.. maybe the pics in manga can help u imagine better the scenes after reading words in the novel...

Hope that helps! w00t!

Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone~! Dancing

Hi Dabbies!

I saw a shop in People Park Complex selling the overseas version of Itoshi Kimi e for $16.90 and there are a few copies left in the shop.

Sekai no Chuushin de ai wo sakebu is still not sold in Singapore. I think people went Malaysia to get it.

I meant I saw the Itoshi Kimi e overseas edition soundtrack selling at a store in Chinatown. It is selling for $16.90. There are a few copies left. The shop is at Pearl's Centre, ground level facing the street.

As for itoshi Kimi e shall be shown over cable during 11 January 2005.
