A few days ago, the US copyrights issue is announced regarding all these music downloads addressed on Straits times. They are taking a stricter rules, i think it also involved those storage space as well.

if they want us to buy original cd's, they should cut off the price.

i think that this is all nonsence. might as well ban blank CD's where you copy the WHOLE soundtrack, or ban blank cassette tapes or video tapes. everything that has something protecting it, theres always a way around. have a program with no serial key? no prob just search the net for a keygen. kazaa and its stupid spy-ware...no prob just download diet kaza. so i dont know why these big corporate guys who bathe in cash worry about loosing a little money (which is practically loose change to them). and whatever happened to making music because you love to make music and to have other people hear your music. have human beings really got this attached to money? aaaahhhrrr im just really mad right now and still got a lot more stuff to say but im really tired right now. well anyways im out

The main cause is : Advancement of Technology e.g network sharing, cd writer, dvd..etc.
