I hesitated between giving it a 7 or an eight! so 7.5! Anyway, for a hospital dorama its script is original!! It's funny and it doesn't aim making you cry which is quite unusual when one of the main character has a leucemia.... The ending is great and I like the way they all decide to change their career at the end! Two bad points, At the begining Hiyo (Goto Maki) is a rebel and with NO NO No transition at all she starts becoming so cheerful and bright? so strange! The other thing is that Sora is very kind to her patients but but... sometimes to kind and for example with the grand mother with cancer who used to work in a restaurant she told her that she will help her once a week or something... but she doesn't seem to keep her promise! Anyway how could she keep it?
This is a good drama exploring other aspects of the classic hospital dorama which is a big achievement! |

This show was very good! I liked that they included medical cases, giving it this ER feel. I especially love how the characters had different perceptions of things, like life and what it means to be a doctor, and how they're all united by one girl and her illness. My only complaint abt the show is that it mostly focused on Sora. Little character development is seen in her other sisters. I really expected Maki Gotoh to do a bit more acting than voiceovers and look innocent or ill. Nonetheless, the show's still emotionally charged - with an ending even i didn't expect. Worth watching! |

Goto Maki is too quite in her first drama and the series itself lacks an overall plot. They do have nice and touching subplots but that's pretty much it. Pretty girls but not enough... |

A nice blend of humor and drama dealing with a topic that's not all that common. I hated Atsuko Asano's annoying role at first, but ended up loving it in the end! |
