| Arihara Shuhei (Koizumi Kotaro) works for a university hospital and devotes himself to research on catheter-based treatment. One day, he receives a phone call from his family’s family Arihara General Hospital. Shuhei’s father Shotaro, who is the hospital director, has suffered a stroke. He hastily rushes over but Shotaro has fallen into a coma. He hears from the head nurse Hyodo Etsuko (Asada Miyoko) that the hospital is heavily in debt and Shuhei is lost for words. |
