They also don't try to drag out a simplistic story for ten episodes by using excessive drama or silly plot twists. They use the format and length to the best of it's benefits, which is really the main point of failure for most shows to me. There are two main characters, they each have several jobs, several love interests, their own friends, and distinct personalities, consequently, it feels like so much happens and changes over the course of this series, and there is never a dull moment throughout its entirety.
This is primarily a family themed drama, something I'm not much of a fan of, but again they are able to portray it emotionally touching without becoming to sappy. And besides, it has just as much to offer in the way of comedy and romance as well. I really have nothing bad to say about this drama at all, but if I try to force myself to find a fault, it would be that in trying to do so many things, it falls short of perfection in a few aspects, particularly the romance. In other words, the very reason that this is wonderful, is the same reason it is not extraordinarily wonderful. Still, I completely love it. |
2. | Comments by gaijinmark [Rating: 7/10] Started watching it because of Nao Matsuhita which is a good thing because Satomi Ishihara's Misaki was one of the most irritating, unlikable characters I've seen in awhile. Of course, it turns she's not a totally selfish a-hole and everybody lives happily ever after. Women will like this drama, men, probably not as much. |
3. | Comments by Kirari Ililah [Rating: 8/10] Fun and relatable, but time frame seemed too fast for a relationship to really be built. Ishihara is surprising in this as she usually plays a quiet role. She also acts so much more younger than her age is...Good job also by Matsushita, very good at her character and emotions. |
4. | Comments by pash [Rating: 8/10] Lovely dorama about sisterly love and, more generally, about the things we should actually pursue in life (family, love, etc.). I particularly enjoyed Ishihara's and Hirayama's performances! |
5. | Comments by nickylynn [Rating: 6/10] It took me so long to finish this. It was so draggy. The reason I rated it as well as I did is because the ending was nice. |
6. | Comments by Spider [Rating: 8/10] Good drama about sister's who are complete opposites but are bonded my their family and love for one another. |
7. | Comments by shinjitsu [Rating: 7/10] There are moments that are tedious and boring but in the end it was better than average |
