I love girly, fashion related shows. The problem is how to keep it from being cheesy, and ironically they even honestly have the word cheesy scattered amongst various other English words in the credits. As well as some silly "mounting ranking" concept represented by cards, complete with the heroine powerfully catching one of the cards. It seems like we are going to be catchimg Pokemans or something. Not looking good. But, miraculously I was not bothered by any of it in the least. Even more remarkable, they somehow avoided the other obvious pitfall of having nearly every single character being an outrageously obnoxious bitch and then trying to make you care about them. Somehow I loved evey single one of them. Honestly I think I am being too generous just because I like the subject matter.
Actually, the one thing that I had a problem buying was the semi-romance between the main character and a loser cameraman. That felt forced and unbelievable. |

initially, Sawajiri Erika role attracted me. then it ended up like typical kdrama cinderella kind of character. end of the drama, i prefer the bitch Nanao acted. she is good in this role. she is probably one of the main point to watch for. story wise was good at first ~ not bad at the end... i did rolled my eyes during halfway through the drama~ ridiculous i will say. can watch for the bitches; but not the good guys. |

I'm still waiting for the final episode to post, but overall, this was VERY unbelievable. The progression of the storyline was pretty over the top, even by dorama standards. And if more of the characters were likable, it might not be so high-tension, but it would probably be more watchable. |

More like "Worst Class". If you're an Erika Sawajiri fanboy or a 14 year old girl that spends all her time reading fashion magazines this might be good. I am neither. Gets my vote for worst drama of 2014 so far. |
