1. | Comments by occultangle [Rating: 8/10] I just intrinsically like something like this, and I think it would be hard for anyone to actually dislike this series. The opening credits alone make this worth watching.
However, this is not to say there is anything particularly great here. The story is pretty tired. I like many of the characters, but most of them don't stand out all that much. The various guests, a plot device where a show of this sort would usually rely heavily upon, are all boring without exception. Also in comparison with similar dramas (i.e. one's set in Kyoto) they don't do all that great a job at showcasing all the beautiful sights that are so easy to capture in this setting.
Still, none of this should be taken that there is anything bad here either. It's just a simple, light hearted drama that overall I liked quite a lot. |
