The ending was left kind of open, which makes sense because the US base issue in Okinawa hasn't been resolved in real life. And a pretty heavy handed treatment of Americans. I don't think every American in Okinawa is a rapist, thief, or lunatic driver that runs over little kids. Still, a very good drama. I really liked Yoko Maki and Taizo Harada. |
