Though I had my doubts when I first saw her in a drama a few years ago, I think I've been thoroughly swayed by Mizuki Alisa. She's a wonderful actress, but combine her with food porn? Wrap me up and take me home, Alisa-chan! I enjoyed the simple story and characters in this series, especially Kurumi's grandfather who was a laugh-riot every time he came on screen. It was far from perfect and I wish it had been longer, but I think this is a satisfying series for anyone who likes dramas involving food and family. |

More on Rie and her family. The co-worker that left his family in Akita. Miki and the guy that ran the grocery store. Lots of material there left undone, but what they did give us was real good. |
