I really really enjoyed this drama. Sometimes the acting was a bit shoddy from the minor cast members, but I really enjoyed this. Yamamoto Yusuke did a wonderful job as Wataru. I think it was refreshing coming from seeing him in stuff like Kamen Rider Kabuto, Atashinchin no Danshi and Ouran Koukou Host Club. It was nice seeing him away from that "prince" type image. I think he did a good job of being a yankee. I also applaud Daito Shunsuke. I think he was spectacular in this. His character was extremely awesome. Also, who wouldn't like seeing Yusuke taking his shirt off pretty much every episode?! |

Not the best sports drama - uses too many cliches (Gokusen) and flashbacks. A few story lines had real potential, like the gay outing, which was handled well for a Japanese drama, also the teacher seemed somewhat realistic. Other than that: cheesy. The 8 protagonists are alright though, it's not their fault that some idiot decided to enhance their lips by injecting collagen, and they do all their stunts themselves! Well done! |

omg. i just finished watching this drama! omg its sooooo awesome! this just made me love yamamoto even more! he is such an amazing actor!! and omg i didnt even realize that ive seen daito shunsuke from other dramas. i mean he looked familiar but i didnt know it was him! lol. omg well anyways awesome drama! and i love it when the guys get all pumped up!! awesome! |
