1. | Comments by pinkokoro [Rating: 7/10] honestly I was torn between giving this a 7 or an 8, lately I seems to be reaching the level of jdramas density which somehow do not allow me to give high rate to drama. maybe if it was watched at the beginning of my drama craze it might be getting more appraisal. the more u watch, the more the subsequent dramas need to deliver to impress. majo saiban generally is a nice suspense drama with twists. i've always love twist, and though i'm fooled myself by the story development which means the success of the twist to me - overall the story is decent enough. for those who love suspense and havent watched too many suspenseful drama, to be very impressed. |
2. | Comments by Oba-chan [Rating: 8/10] Typical of suspense drama. I watched too much Suspense drama, so i can predict all of their twists, Except the ending ~_~.
What the hell, they gave us a lot of possibility, but then they beat us in the end, thats why i like the concept. A lot of beautiful actress here such as Kato ai, Higa manami, Ishida yuriko, and majo no Daughter. This is the first time i see Manami-chan, and i think she's done a very good job. Ikuta toma did a typical Toma-style ~_~. The concept of Witch trial delivered very well to me.
Soundtrack: Keshin [Fukuyama Masaharu] : 9 |
3. | Comments by Cerebus [Rating: 6/10] A typical cliche ridden mystery/thriller based around a murder trail. The protagonist runs everywhere, the main bad guy just grins and laughs manically, nothing makes very much sense and for some reason the police are never anywhere to be seen. The direction got rather tiresome with certain actions, mainly reaction shots, repeated about 10 times from different camera angles every 5 minutes or so. The ending however is fantastic, if a little rushed, and makes up for some of the preceding short comings. |
4. | Comments by Jeanxi [Rating: 6/10] I'm not sure what to think. I feel like it's pretty clear where the overall plot is going, but I guess the producers/script writers do a fairly good job of maintaining an aura of suspense around each event that happens. I think the filming technique and the acting is a little cliche, though. Might turn out to be an okay drama, but I'm just not in the mood right now for such an involved story. |
5. | Comments by oonqy [Rating: 8/10] the story though was slow-paced, but multiple twist, like a roller coaster, too much twist that i give up speculating n just laid back n watched it. the ending is not bad except my intelligence is unable to tell who is kurokawa.... so my dumbness is causing my anxiety. but is a gd suspense drama!! luckily is not too long |
6. | Comments by Sun_Shang_Xiang [Rating: 10/10] I really liked this, I much prefer the simplest solution is the right answer than the "unfair" type solutions in dramas like Ice World where some character who wasn't a suspect is suddenly revealed as the culprit in the last episode and goes against all logic. Kato Ai and Ishida Yuriko were both superb in this one. |
7. | Comments by Mimori [Rating: 9/10] Even though there were some things that were left unexplained and I didn't like the ending that much, overall it was a good drama. To me, it was obvious who the real culprit was even if they threw several twists and turns. But even so, I did enjoy watching it. I give it a 9 because I loved Kurokawa-san. xD |
8. | Comments by aik0 [Rating: 5/10] Given the theme, could have been a thrilling success. This one shows potential at first, but by midway it is going downhill. And of course, each 35-min episode can be condensed to 10 min of information..., but still it's not like it's draggy or anything. It's has it's up and down. |
9. | Comments by nienna [Rating: 6/10] It's not bad, kinda. But the story keeps on going round and round. I enjoy the witch's manipulation on Ikuta's character. It opens an insight to me to watch how a criminal slithers into freedom. Not everything we see, hear, feel or experience is real. It's all manipulation. |
10. | Comments by compaqmac321 [Rating: 10/10] (spoiler alert) it gets better with each episode....it fooled me till the very end....im shocked at how good this show was...it was perfect..everything..im still shocked that it fooled me like that..i dont get fooled..but i just did...hah i lost to this show..its a 10 |
11. | Comments by loveaomori [Rating: 9/10] Sometimes too easy to prediction, except for the ending. The fact that they vote raising their hands musn't be the real way to vote during a judgement. Too far from realty sometimes. Anyway the acting is pretty good and it has a lot of suspense. |
12. | Comments by chibichan [Rating: 8/10] kyaaaa!!!! Toma kun no atarashii dorama.
I like the twisting story and the shock ending, finally the whole "saiban" can end up like the witch want. I think the final episode is not really the end, season2 maybe?? |
13. | Comments by Nermal [Rating: 4/10] After 3 episodes, I can already say I'm not going to enjoy this. Something lacking in the making of it.. the plot is not that interesting either... I call quits on this one. |
14. | Comments by bobspelledbqwrds [Rating: 7/10] I really liked how it was just ONE story. A lot of dramas have a different every episode, but not this one. ^^
Lots of corny and a bit of a disappointing end. |
15. | Comments by PaperCaged [Rating: 8/10] Dark, hopeless, and full of twists. I don't usually like court-type shows, but this one did not bore me at all. I'd say it's worth watching. |
16. | Comments by Jhvx [Rating: 8/10] Good at the begining but as the plot advances it becomes annoying, the end is quite surprising though, a little bit twisty dorama |
17. | Comments by chokakoi [Rating: 10/10] interesting story, keeps you watching to find out the ending... (i admit i am bias, toma alone worth rating 8) lol.. |
18. | Comments by nickylynn [Rating: 7/10] A very suspenseful drama. It kept me interested all the way through. I must admit it got me in the end. |
19. | Comments by hitomi #1 [Rating: 9/10] One of the better court room dramas to view, very interesting and suspenseful, for fans of Liar Game. |
20. | Comments by Chrolo [Rating: 5/10] I stopped after the first two episodes because I didn't see the big sense in the happenings *mhm* |
21. | Comments by Yuuki MatsuMiya [Rating: 7/10] I didn't think it was a great drama, but I couldn't stop watching because of Ikuta To. <3 |
22. | Comments by ct_subang [Rating: 8/10] was slow @ 1st..gotten interesting with its twist & turn..

23. | Comments by russia [Rating: 5/10] good intro to japan trial system but way too convoluted without sensible plot. |
24. | Comments by Aysha [Rating: 8/10] I'm still shocked about the Ending...it's killing me..nice story though |
25. | Comments by monstakarotte [Rating: 6/10] Toma was quite nice but I wasn't really thrilled by the drama... |
26. | Comments by suerinn [Rating: 7/10] Overall, it was good, but sometimes it was so slow-paced. |
