Excellent police drama. Great writing, you get the feeling that the supporting and guest characters are real people, rather than a just means of progressing the plot or filling time. The initial wackiness was reduced, which improved things no end. The fourth episode was superb and the seventh episode was even better, and is one the the best single j-drama episodes I've seen. The plot was a little too neat, and it was easy to guess the culprit, but the characters more than made up for it. |

Probably 7.5 for me. My main criticism would be the pacing of episode 2-6, too slow (and 2-5 could be skipped altogether without affecting audience's understanding) But episode 7 was great and how the case unfolded in the last few episodes was quite interesting and entertaining. I really like the cameo by Ikewaki Chizuru and Uchino Masaaki was very convincing. There is a realistic feel to the show for the most parts, and the characters feel like real people too. |

8.5ish- I was not expected the first episode to turn out that way at all. I immediately had to watch the following episode. This drama was filled with watching more than my usual one episode per day. I watched about 2-3 per day. Pretty good show. The perpetrator was quite simple to see. I liked how the story spanned out. Recommend Highly! (Watched Late Fall 09) PS- 50th Drama!! Yay! |

In my opinion probably the best scripted drama of 2008 overall and certainly the best mystery drama since Unfair. The character development is very well executed, this drama made me like and dislike most protagonists, meaning they came across a human being with weaknesses, ego problems and hidden agendas, just like real people. |

Not on the same level as 'Odoru Daisassousen' or 'Ningen no Shomei' but still very good. There was one major hole in the plot (I felt) and that could have resolved lots of things, but still, good script and good job by all the actors. |

Uchino Massaki has a tendency to overact, but he's fun to watch. I felt some of the episodes were unnecessary. Tsutsui Michitaka was so boring. I think his character could have been so much more interesting. But overall, worth watching. |
