Hello, I am an adult male, and I like Sailor Moon.
Confessions out of the way, we have here a live action Sailor Moon. An intrinsically bad idea. Is it bad? Yes, it is horrible. Are you a Sailor Moon fan? Yes? Then watch this, you will love it anyway.
I think the reason this turns out so well for fans is because of a good cast. No they're not all just like the anime, but you know, it's kind of hard for people to be cartoons. So this strikes a good balance between how they should be, and being different.
Usagi is absolutely perfect and adorable. Mercury, my favorite Sailor, at first seemed too boring and not good, but she really grew on me, and they gave her more importance than in the anime. Mars, my second favorite, is definitely different, but her character is actually more appropriate and makes more sense if you think about it (and it's Kitagawa Keiko, probably one of her first acting roles). Jupiter is my least favorite (because she's a boy) but somehow I like her better in real life (probably because she seems less like a boy). Sadly, Venus is the big disappointment here, I have no idea why they made her so moody and mean.
I feel like a real geek liking this, but I just have a special place in my heart for anything Sailor Moon. |

I admit, I have an affection with live action dramas haha. I have to say I was lucky to come upon this drama. Was so excited that the anime "Sailor Moon" was having a live action. At first when I was watching the drama, the fighting scenes was something that disappointed me because it was simply too dull. But, I guess the drama grows on you because of the attresses' growing performance, the interesting plots and the wonderful settings were all so enjoyable. |

When I was growing up, I really, really, really loved Sailor Moon. At first the live action looks cheap and stupid (Luna is a stuffed doll and the transformations are silly), but the story is really good and very different from the the anime at times. I liked how it focused more on their lives at school and at home and how they all become friends slowly than right away. I would say the show was its best in the middle of the season though. |

As a die-hard Sailor Moon fan I was still wary of PGSM because it looked really cheesey, and I didn't at the time even know about JDrama. But I figured I'd give it a go and it was AMAZING. I love the entire cast and all of the soundtracks, even though I'm probably way too old to admit that so openly hahaha. Amazing though. An excellent addition to the SM Canon. This also started my foray into JDrama! |

Ah, I so used to watch the anime like nearly 10 years ago... so I had to watch this too XD. It takes some getting used to but then it's actually quite interesting XD. Plus, I like the bad guys... they are rather... cute... especially Nephrite and Jadeite XDDDD. And I liked Usagi quite some. |

Surprisingly fun! Costumes are super camp and special effects are terrible. I reckon it's aimed at children, despite the flashing white panties:-), but I was sold after the 4th episode. It has humor and it doesn't take itself too seriously and that makes it enjoyable. |

I'm a big fan of sailor moon, it was he reason to watch live action. In the first 3-4 episode I laughed a lot about the enemies, and transformations... But after that I got acclimatized, and it was very good. But the story wasn"t the same, like in anime! |

Sometimes it does lack something. Especially the feeling between Usagi and Mamoru but, well, the drama was funny, lovely and touching at time. Not the best, not the worst and in my opinion, I was pretty glad to watch it. It reminds me my youth, L O L. |

Haha, c'est tellement naze que c'en est marrant. J'ai mis du temps a regarder la totalite du truc mais bon, au final, j'ai pas abandonne. A reserver aux personnes qui ont une certaine capacite a regarder de la merde quand meme hein. |

If you are a Sailor Moon Fan than this is a must have in your collection! The plot keeps you interested enough in the drama even though the acting can sometimes be a little childish. |
