| After 30 years with the Zuyo Police Station, Kashiwada Genkichi is retiring in a few months. Although he lost his wife more than 10 years ago, he recently completed her 13th memorial service and now, with many of his obligations fulfilled, he looks forward to enjoying a peaceful retirement. That is, until a crime occurs at a foreigner�fs house within his jurisdiction. Genkichi goes to help investigate, and is reminded of a similar case that took place 30 years ago. The ensuing investigation leads Genkichi to revisit other connections to his past, opening up new doors at a time he thought doors would be closing. |
