The drama unfolds with Kihara Jiro waking up one morning and finding a divorce application form instead of his wife, on the pillow next to him. Jiro doesn't know where his wife, Megumi, has gone to, nor does he have a clue as to why she is filing for divorce. When his childhood friend asks him if he truly loves Megumi, Jiro is at a loss for an answer. Jiro was a divorcee when he met Megumi, and his past marriage and subsequent divorce five years later had made him lose his confidence in love and marriage. He only married Megumi as she had pushed for it.
In the meantime, the company where Jiro is employed has been bought over by a foreign equity fund group, and he now has a new boss, someone that has been sent from New York. She is none other than his ex-wife, Negishi Saki! |
