| Kawabe Toko (Uchida) is a girl with some problems. Aband-oned by her parents when she was born, Toko was raised on Amamioshima Island y her aunt. She doesn't know what a real family is supposed to be like. Since she was small, shecouldn't show people (even those who were understanding)her true feelings.Two years ago, Toko was scouted by Sawaki Hiroshi (Sato) who promised her that she could make it in the entertainment world. Before graduating from High school, Toko goes to Tokyo to find Sawaki who works for Geino Productions Co. To her dismay, she finds that the current Sawaki has changed from two years ago. Accumulating some large debts, Sawaki tells her that he plans to quit the geino business. Toko's childhood friend Atuya (Sorimachi) goes to a college in Tokyo and is a member of the school's rugby team. He is two years older than Toko and thinks of her as a sister. Toko's love for him is one sided. Without meeting Atuya in Tokyo, Toko returns home to Amamioshima. Several days later, Toko sends Sawaki a note written on the back of his old business card saying that if there is anything she can help with, just ask. When Sawaki reads the note, he begins to feel that his dreams could be realized (by Toko). So he goes to Amamioshima to visit her... |
