Synopsis

1.	Ugh [Rating: 6/10] I'm not quite sure why I don't like this drama. At first I thought my dislike was based in my morals, but on further thought I realized that this is not the case. I mean, I'm the one who is 100% on Angelina Jolie's side in the whole Brad-Jen-Angie triangle. So why do I have such a problem with this drama? ALL the actors/actresses did an amazing job, and the plot is intriguing. Even the cinematography had its "wow" moments. The only thing I can say is that I feel I've been lied to by the main characters. Tsukasa was portrayed as a naive, kind, caring female who you wish you could be like. Yoshimoto was sensitive, gentle, and comfortable. You wished he wasn't married so that he could save Tsukasa from her miserable relationship with Shima. But he was married. And becaue they fall in love with each other, they end up losing the qualities I liked about them. I was misled, and instead of getting some closure or resolve, I was left with an ending that betrayed the movements of the storyline. Not cool.

2.	Done well... [Rating: 8/10] Gosh did this one air this long ago? I'm getting old! Storyline is blessed with some good acting Akai Hidekazu does some good work on this one as a separated father dealing with the attraction of the lovely Miyazawa Rie living in the apartment next door. As always, Sano Shiro is a crack-up, playing the nerdy boss having an affair with one of the 'elevator girls' Worth a look!

1.	Comments by Tu_triky [Rating: 9/10] The first drama I ever saw, back in 1992. I got hooked on Japanese dramas because of this one. Rie Miyazawa was approaching the zenith of her career. She's just so beautiful in this drama I got hooked on her forever after. A simple story about a simple girl tryin' to make it in the big city of Tokyo.
2.	Comments by bmwracer [Rating: 9/10] This series most likely put Miyazawa Rie on the map to stardom. She plays the lead character of Sawaki Tsukasa perfectly: young, cute, and vulnerable. The story might seem predictable, but it's always enjoyable and somewhat sad. Highly recommended.
