Some of the highlights of this drama are, computer generated rats, Indian people speaking badly lip-synced Japanese, and lots of screaming. It's ostensibly a kids drama, but it begs the question - how many kids watch drama? It's actually a bit like the drama version of Morning Musume, A band that should be for young girls but really is just made for pedophiles, which is fine, except I always wonder why they can't write the poor girls a decent song. I have seen some of these actors act decently before, so it's obviously the fault of the director, whose ideals of good acting involves "more screaming", Seira can't even read a fairy tale without raising her voice. Surprisingly, it does become a lot better as it progresses, mostly that just means instead of screaming everyone starts crying all the time, but Japan has been known to produce entire game shows based around girls crying so there must be something special about it. |

its a dorama which is good if u like cinderella story but if u dont, dont bother watching it.....haha..anyways the reason i like this is because its Shida Mirai as the main character and i luv her! she`s so sweet and cute in this! great actress as well. A light dorama but has its depressing moments suprisingly...like ep 3 which is pretty damn depressing.....anyways i dont really care wot people say about this dorama, it might be a bit tacky but hey its one of those good feel doramas! |

The first 3 episodes were hard to watch, but it gets better after that. Shida Mirai and Higuchi Kanako are both terrific here and the supporting performances are all good too. The series has its moments, I particularly like the backstories and some of the points it makes, but because the story mainly revolves around people being mean and abusive to Sara, sometimes for little reason, this was not such a great series for me. Must watch for any Shida Mirai fan though. |

ep 1 and dropped it, okay i understand that this dorama based on popular story "a little princess", which was written by western woman, so it must be good, right ?!?!?!
but watching japanese girl reading Cinderella to Indian children using Japanese language that is sooooo weird, maybe the writer wants me to assume that the Indian people there are her servant so they must be understand her language, no....not makes sense at all !! |

Im not really into those fairy tale stuff. But this one is pretty enjoyable... despite the cast (wich imo is far from beign good) the over the edge characters and the plain and simple story i was having a good time while watching Shokojo Seira. Well.. maybe the bullying portraited in this dorama was a lil' over the board but in the end its a nice dorama. Nothing really memorable but quite enjoyable. |

There was wayyy too much bullying and abuse in this drama. I mean they can't really do the whole "child slavery" thing and combine it with the modern world, it's kinda weird ^^; In some parts it worked, in some it didn't. The ending was a happy ending, but honestly I wish some of those crazy bitches would die in a fire. They didn't deserve to have a good end! |

the drama though is very fairy-tale alike kind of plot. but i personally find it quite inspirational. very typical sad tough life for the leading actress. i find myself addicting to the drama, wanting to watch the next episode earnestly without me realizing. simple sweet pure romance in it too. |

Shida Mirai is brilliant as always , the bullying in this series is quite harrowing. Is it me but since seeing Tanabe Seiichi in Ring 0 does he ever get the girl in any series ? |
