31-year-old Kishibe Mitsuru (Ikuta Toma) has been unemployed since seven years ago. After graduating from university, he got hooked on coffee and started a business but it failed. However, no one can beat him in a war of words and he keeps using twisted logic to gloss over his own hopelessness. Mitsuru lives off his mother Fusae (Harada Mieko), who runs the cafe left to her by her late husband. But his life suddenly changes when his older sister Ayako (Koike Eiko) and her family (Yasuda Ken, Kiyohara Kaya) come to live with them while their house is being rebuilt. Ayako concludes that Mitsuru is simply escaping from reality and faults their mother for how he turned out. Will he be able to overcome this misfortune and stand on his own two feet? | JDrama Weblog |

| 1. | Comments by pash [Rating: 10/10] O fellow jdoramist, thou shalt not be fooled: under the guise of a light comedy, what we actually have here is a lil' gem of dorama that manages to address some very deep matters (more specifically, the NEET problem; more generally, what makes us happy and what is this good old thing called family). Brilliantly written and aptly acted by the whole cast. | 2. | Comments by ashley juggs [Rating: 8/10] Nice family drama. Sometimes funny, sometimes sweet. They should made a single of "Let Me Eat My Mikan Freely". It would have been a hit. | 3. | Comments by gaijinmark [Rating: 8/10] Real good family drama. The discussions/arguments were hilarious, especially trying to follow Mitsuru's screwball logic. | 4. | Comments by junny [Rating: 8/10] Solid cast. The bantering between the siblings was a highlight. | 5. | Comments by jessiesoon [Rating: 9/10] Ikuta Toma is really good in it. |
