Probably 7.5 for me. Light-hearted, enjoyable time-filler. I like the first half of this series quite a lot, particularly the connections between the characters. The second half, felt a bit strung out, and the work aspect wasn't done very well. I didn't find the character of Futaro (played by Kishitani Goro) particularly likeable, but I like Akira (Watabe Atsuro). Matsuyuki Yasuko as the career woman/single mother was very good I thought, and I also like Takeuchi Yuko and Uchiyama Rina in their small roles. This is quite an enjoyable series overall. |

Another strong jdorama of the same calibre as News no Onna. Good pacing and a great all-round cast make watching this a truly enjoyable experience! I must say though, this drama is pretty packed with stars (almost as many as Lunch Queen!), not that I mind :) |
