That said, I did like this drama, and I liked how it ended. The coupling-up happened the way I thought it should from the beginning (no spoilers on that); the people I thought should be together wound up together and the ones who I didn't think made a good match didn't pair up. Hooray! Nothing worse than finishing a series and STILL not understanding how in the hell certain characters wound up together.
I would recommend this. Saki is kind of (okay, very) annoying, but the supporting characters are all great (except Masato, who's kind of a cartoon dick for most of the show, but he's redeemed. This is dorama, after all). |
2. | Comments by SayaOtonashi [Rating: 6/10] The best thing about this dorama is Kanno Miho, without doubts. Her performance is just brilliant. Besides that, the dorama itself is not believable and they kind of forced the robotic behavior of Saki. It was nice to notice how she slowly adapted to the different changes in her life and her relationship with other people. On the other hand there's the fight against the idea of a girl's only purpose of getting married just to be really happy, which was quite nice to see. Anyway this dorama just bored me a bit. |
3. | Comments by Susan [Rating: 8/10] Once again this is a series I initially passed on. 2010 has been a year where I watched a lot that I never thought I'd watch, and I am far from disappointed. Magerarenai Onna is arguable one of the best series of 2010. The characters are all fantastic and the storyline is somewhat unique. But what really caught my attention was the complexities and quirks of Kanna Miho's character. She was hilarious, adorable, and oh so awesome. |
4. | Comments by compaqmac321 [Rating: 8/10] if she knows so much about the law, if shes so smart....why cant she pass the bar exam........BUT, the show took a turn from annoying to pretty good, saki is wack...shes annoying (i hate that ally of justice type character) but the acting is good, and i can see her grow with each episode, and they shoulda just made it 10 episodes instead of 9 and a sp, but OH WELL. |
5. | Comments by EstherM [Rating: 8/10] Great characters - great slice of life story from a female perspective! Improbability of basic elements in the script and MasatoLs unlikely personality changes spoil it a little. The leading ladies, Miho Kanno and Nagasaku Hiromi are outstanding! I like that the usual "a girl has to be married to be happy" life model is not forced upon the characters. |
6. | Comments by zenith777 [Rating: 9/10] When I watched this dorama, the story reminds me of Kekkon Dekinai Otoko Dorama, they have same characteristic where the main character had complex characteristic, but those made the dorama interesting to watch, can't predict what will happen next, really high morale value :) |
7. | Comments by gaijinmark [Rating: 8/10] Real good drama! Kanno, Nagasaku, and Tanihara were all great (although Kanno's screaming got to be a bit much sometimes).
I would really like to see Kanno and Nagasaku work together again. |
8. | Comments by strawberryfzz [Rating: 8/10] Great characters and fairly original storyline. The performances of each of the three leads are noteworthy. Nice ending to boot which are surprisingly hard to come by! |
9. | Comments by Sun_Shang_Xiang [Rating: 6/10] This drama wasn't that interesting for me but Kanno Miho is good, nice to see a drama where the leading lady wears glasses ! Nagasaku Hiromi did amuse me though. |
10. | Comments by miriya52 [Rating: 8/10] I watched the whole drama and there are definitely aspects I appreciate that are unique from other jdoramas. But I got tired of Ogiwara's shutter opening... |
11. | Comments by dreamer10231 [Rating: 8/10] the poster's weird but i started watching this because of tanihara...it's nice and funny...in fact, i have started on this before starting on code blue 2 |
12. | Comments by Patazilla [Rating: 8/10] Somewhere between 8 and 9 points. Gives a fresh feeling in its story and realisatiion. I liked the characters and cast. <3 |
13. | Comments by dokaben [Rating: 7/10] Kind of hit or miss, but still watchable. Miho Kanno carries the show. (Miho Kanno carries most shows.) |
14. | Comments by asako77 [Rating: 8/10] a bit predictable and repetitive towards the end.. but over-all, it was funny and a good watch |
15. | Comments by ct_subang [Rating: 5/10] didn't liked much Miho being all shouty abt everything..do love hiromi in this one.. |

17. | Comments by chibichan [Rating: 8/10] a bit cliche in the end, but overall this dorama quite good. |
